I may have a solution for you brother: (TLDR: Read books/Listen to audiobooks/Listen to debates) I had severe anger issues as a young man and would start throwing punches within moments of being agitated (I never ever hit a woman, I'm refferring to arguments with men). What gave me patience in moments of verbal conflict is I listened to a lot of debates and audiobooks on KZbin for fun and through that I learned how to handle myself because after 4 or 5 months I started to feel like I just downloaded the ability to handle myself verbally. This coupled with confidence in the fact that I can physically defend myself if someone attacks me has given me the ability to just observe the other person no matter how much I disagree.

I was helping a family friend with some computer problem and the daughter was very religious. She prayed all her prayers and was reading hadith. I didn't talk to her much but she listened to her mother and didn't watch TV or movies. Finding someone like that is so hard unless you use family connections and ask someone at the masjid for assistance. We just see the mainstream typical woman and believe all hope is lost. A good way in general is to avoid western or westernized women. They have feminist ideas and rarely know anything about starting a family. Someone who takes their religion seriously will be easier to deal with in non western countries. Each generation is getting further and further away from basic knowledge of Islam.

But the wife takes precedence over the mother in one case, and that is the matter of spending. If the husband cannot afford to spend on both his wife and his mother because he is poor, then in this case he should put his wife before his mother. The Muslim has to give what is due to each person who has a right over him, and he has to help the one who is oppressed. If his mother mistreats his wife, he has to put a stop to it, in a kind and fair manner. And Allaah knows best.

If I was in a situation where a person was a threat to my partner, as an individual, I would do all I could to protect her. If I have to die in the process, then so be it. However, I would do this without expecting anything in return. I would put myself at risk for the person that I love out of honour, not because she or anyone else tells me to, but because it is what I want. If there is a situation where I want intimacy and my partner doesn’t, then I will respect her and her right to make that decision. Why would anyone want intimacy if it isn’t shared mutually? On the same note, if she wants intimacy and l don’t then I feel that my decision to not engage should be respected. In reality, this does happen on occasion, let’s say for example I’ve had a long day (or week) at work and she will respect that. I’m not a Muslim and I mean absolutely no offence to anyone but I really don’t see how you can claim that because you protect and provide for your partner that that gives you a right to intimacy. I understand his point but there is something he is missing and that is Consent. Sexual intimacy is a physical and energy interchange between husband and wife and therefore it must be recriporcal. Of course both parts must feel sexually satisfied but the fact that you provide financially to your wife does not mean that you can have sex whenever you want. As an ummah we need to develop more sensitivity. We are not animals. Your wife might not feeling in the mood for sexual intimacy, or she might feel sick or she might just not feel any sexual arousal that day and that is fine. Husbands need to respect that because a husband needs this wife consent to have sex otherwise he is forcing her. Obviously of your wife/husband never wants to have sex he/she is taling your right away and that is not fair on you. But you cant expect you partner to feel sexually active anytime you want. This type of speech demonstrate that he dos not really understand how sexual energy works. Having sex is not as easy as pressing a bottom and you are ready for it. Sex arousal depens on how emotionally close you feel to your partner, on how stress you are, on ylur physical and psychologia health. Islam is balance guys alhamdulilah and it feels so natural so we shouldnt be taking extremisms like this. It is fine if your partner is not always on the mood for sex, you can work that out as a couple because more importantly if you wife is Never ready for sexual intimacy there is always something wrong with her. Maybe she is not in the best of health (psychological diatress, physicial sicknes...) or maybe she just dont feel enough close to her man as to have sex. Women's sexual arousal is totally linked to the emotional bond with her husband. And men, as the brother said, have more sexual desires and it takes them less efforts to awake that sexual energy. Get to know your partner, get close to your parttner emotionally and make sure he/she feels respected, valued and satisfied in bed. Sexual intimacy is a gift that Allah gave us to not only to create life and satisfy our desires but to create a special bond with our partners. totally! and while i do understand how a woman expects her husband to protect her (aka fulfill his responsibility) the woman should also fulfill her own responsibilities but to term those "responsibilities" as solely sexual acts is totally different! i understand it is a right of a man for her wife to provide her that, but we need to approach this with empathy and patience. if my husband is sick, not feeling well, in a bad mental space overall, i of course do not expect him to protect me if i'm under attack. if anything i'll switch the roles up and try protecting him to the best of my abilities because he's weak. exactly if your wife is not in the write head space for sexual intimacy, you can't force her! she probably has valid reasons to not do so as you mentioned above.

My ex wife a hijabi feminist who kept on throwing her phd in my face. Is now single and miserable with great regret. She was so abusive and insulting … it was downright giving me cancer. I literally had to be hospitalized one day cause she gave me a mild stroke wallah. She would compare me to other men saying they have postgrad degrees and are executives at a corporation and I run a few small businesses, and actually making good income. She would down right drag me through the mud. Brothers if you know you are super healthy and have an over the top libido, you better make sure that you marry someone who has a traditional understanding of deen and not this feminist westernized bullshit. It literally has destroyed dozens of Islamic households in front of my eyes including mine. Then when you bring up a second wife she says you’re a misogynist and threatens to leave you and take the kids. She would say to me I’m not normal for wanting intimacy all the time etc. I would say but then I’m outside all day long and I eventually will fall into temptations and she would say just lower your gaze like Allah says lol. She would say I’m tired and unwell all the damn time. She would bring the kids into our bed saying there’s no room for me at night.

@f3mcell this is the biggest problem wallah. The father doesn’t teach his daughter basic Islamic principles. He just says my daughter is a princess and a phd and she is always right. I always lowered my tone and was respectful to him but he’d just take her side. He said to me once how come you don’t have 3 houses for her and that I’m hiding money from my businesses. I tried to go to few mufti’s and shaikhs to seek counseling to intervene and help us. They would say no, we don’t want any shaikhs telling us what to do. I said ok let’s go to marriage counseling and she’d say there’s nothing wrong. I said the Hadith says the angels are cursing you. I literally have women throwing themselves at me outside. I have a fist length beard and am on strict sunnah with all aspects of my life. I can’t go around committing zina or look at porn and masturbate as she would tell me. I said that brings darkness in our lives and it’s completely haram. She said she blames it on post natal problems.

I am a muslim woman. I think the problem with some women in understanding this is that they cant come to terms with sacrifice for the ones we love. If a woman has children, she needs to sacrifice her time for them and maybe even her career if thats whats best for the children. If a woman has a husband she needs to sacrifice some of her needs for him. Just as a husband sacrifices some of his needs for her. It is all about piety and love between a husband and a wife. She needs to feel some empathy and care for her husband when he is in need to be intimate even when she is not, so she must sacrifice a part of her personal feelings to help him satisfy his needs in that moment. Just like he will need to sacrifice his needs throughout the day of looking at other women as piety and love for his wife. This sister cannot see that she is not being considerate of a mans feelings. I often compare a man's lust as equivalent to a woman's desire for beautifying/validation/attention seeking.
