The alien egg in the first film was brilliant, and this was never matched by the later films. Here the egg visibly changes, has drips going upwards, glows with some kind of bioluminescence, almost magical. There’s also a layer of blue mist above the eggs. None of the sequels captured the same level of detail and the egg design varied with each film.

Alien 1979 upscaled to 4K from the Blu-ray version, with no DNR used. Edited and color graded in HDR and Dolby Vision. Although KZbin currently doesn't support Dolby Vision, the video is HDR compatible. If KZbin ever supports Dolby Vision in the future, this video should play in Dolby Vision as intended. - Watch in HDR for best results! In his defense, he's completely encased in a suit, and xenomorphs are so stupidly overpowered I doubt they could exist in reality.

1:08 Meat in the alien egg? Always wonder if this is supposed to be a container of the facehuggers or like an egg yolk? The same interior of the eggs were only shown again in AVP1 and Alien Covenant, but each has a different look, and the purpose of this 'meat' is never clear. Seems inconsistent.
