Amazing stuff. My favorite sc fi horror film of all time, now the movie beginning to the end. Love these scenes I’ve never seen before. Never seen that conversation between Ripley and Lambert.

In an early script for a follow up movie,the xenomorph lands on a planet,and infect all the people living there,but that script was scrapped 😛

For the original film Ridley Scott first imagined a dark ending where the alien strikes the head off Ripley in the escape shuttle then sits down and records a message in a human voice to be sent to Earth that the last survivor will arrive "home" in a few weeks... The film studio people said that was too bleak an ending and insulting for the audience after hoping Ripley, the last survivor, would escape or defeat the alien somehow.
