Yeah, you can pretty much turn it off at the end this scene, I'm pretty sure - they're just gonna wrap up and head home. Exciting movie, though. Could use a little more effort and imagination, probably. Maybe a longer story than this.

The Corporate theme of Alien is excellent. Ripley represents the competent younger employees who spotted something wrong, and trying to get their voice of reason heard, while Ash is the sinister company man with an unknown agenda and always shuts her down, while Dallas is the passive middle manager who doesn't want anything to do with it, and kinda takes it out on Ripley rather than confronting Ash, which is annoying. Love the continuous tension between Ripley and Ash with Dallas caught in between.

That's why it's a fantasy movie. In real world Ripley would be fired, Ash earn a promotion and Dallas stay in a middle manager position for the rest of his life. Oh, and aliens would roam Earth. That wouldn't be a problem for corporation since its headquarters are in another planet anyway.

Love your upscale clips! May I suggest you tackle the legendary Alien trailer? I've never seen it restored. It has to be one of the best trailers ever made: no spoilers, tons of mystery, fear, anxiety, total vibe. Would love to see it in a version like this!

Alien 1979 upscaled to 4K from the Blu-ray version, with no DNR used. Edited and color graded in HDR and Dolby Vision. Although KZbin currently doesn't support Dolby Vision, the video is HDR compatible. If KZbin ever supports Dolby Vision in the future, this video should play in Dolby Vision as intended. - Watch in HDR for best results!
