Ah, this must be a refreshing change of pace for Amanda. In Alien: Isolation, she is getting lead around through the most dangerous parts of the station by someone else sitting relatively comfortably in an observation location. Now, she gets to do that. Still, as we saw in Isolation, being that person guiding others isn't without its own risks.

Tbh this game is underrated. If I was working on a pc port, I would've done a bit of copy paste of Isolation before the beginning of the fnaf styled parts where we have to move with Ripley through the vents or already visited parts of the chapters (or nights or shifts) , the train station one seems interesting to me if the game had such thing

This right here proves the stupidity and greed of companies. People are going to call me names for this but I don't care the statistics can actually be found online. Mobile / casual games at a 70% female based player group, as a whole they do not want spoopy FNAF rip off games... this would have been something that might have made ALOT of money on pc, again it is FNAF with xenomorphs the money would have made itself but they choose to release it on a "platform" for people who won't like it ATALL. Sucks as a game but baring the awful quality of the graphics and animations, very Enjoyable as a movie. There was another game 10-12 years back were we were stuck in some control room helping someone escape or help us escape. I don't remember the name. It too had cameras and you directed you "puppet" so to speak to do things. I found the cameras and UI so annoying so didn't play more than an hour before giving up on it.

I completely agree. Also it seems that they are having a very difficult time making the Zenomorphs scary and unpredictable again like in the first Alien movie and its best sequel Aliens back in 1986. Both prequels Prometheus and Covenant were terrible. The plot and story arcs were terrible and full of holes like swiss cheese and didn't fit with the original Alien franchise.

Bought this for Android and..idk, it's not bad. Compared with Alien Isolation though, it's not even in the same ballpark. Still relatively fun, tense in parts but stubborn and frustrating to "Be Everywhere At Once" all the time. The fnaf style of gameplay I never really liked..not even for fnaf. It feels more like a "management" game than anything really exciting. No real action, little terror and repetitive to the point of boring gameplay. Every new level is pretty much the same as the last and it gets old pretty quick. Isolation I would give 9/10. Blackout..idk, 5/10?
