Incredible CGI and creative visual design, both in this flick and the other one in the 2-part series. Though maybe it's the dubbing, but often have a hard time figuring out & following the 'story' in almost all these Russian sci-fi flicks, which always seem to be a bit 'chaotic', perhaps not unlike most of Russian culture these days.

It's not too far out of question given a few sci-fi ideas. It could be possible that human biology is simply the most common/viable method of carbon life evolving into intelligence, and therefore most intelligent species adapt a humanoid form. I do feel as if having a human blood type is a little unlikely though, but I'm not well versed enough with the topic to discern any conclusion from that. And the speaking Russian thing could very easily be some sort of alien technology. After all, the aliens clearly have knowledge about the humans so you wouldn't even need to decipher the language live for it to work.

Pretty sure any alien civilization would require a planet to reach at least a Stage 1 civilization, which is the point that a civilization is able to generate all their required energy from it's planet's sun, before any form of contact is to be allowed. Scientists theorize that, technologically, we are 200-300 years from that point. But in reality, we don't have even 100 years before we experience our modern civilizations version of the Fall of Rome. This downward spiral that we are in economically will continue to accelerate until the next and final world war which will be nuclear and will either wipe humanity out or permanently set us back to medieval level tech that we will never be able to even reach our current point again let alone Stage 1.

An impossibility to be sure. China, North Korea, pretty much every major Muslim nation, most African countries will never be able to coexist peacefully either due to religious extremism, communist/dictator leadership, or simply not having a high enough average intelligence to suppress violent tendencies left over from earlier stages of our evolution. It shows that her boyfriend is ready to fight for what he thinks is right (but excessively aggressive). Reckless driver almost killed/hurt someone so boyfriend beats him which is kinda a right thing to do... but a sign that Tyoma has anger issues too. In an American movie from 10-20 years ago boyfriend would be a complete douche (would be much worse for a movie). Modern Hollywood can't make a movie like that, they are busy explaining why white straight males are scum.
