I love that for every installment we get a new design. I don't care too much for aesthetic continuity, I love to see different artistic takes on the Alien! Plus, you don't need weird subspecies plot devices like many speculate, variability is natural :)

I cannot believe this was practical, that teaser had me convinced it was full CG. I like the design for the most part. My biggest issue, and this is gonna sound VERY nit-picky, is that there's a massive gap between the dome and the teeth. Anyone else noticing that? It makes the mouth look off to me when it's closed. Oh well, personally I think Romulus had the best design since 1979, and anything is better than the reptilian crap they were using for Resurrection and AVP. I will remain cautiously optimistic about this show!

Suit is a head shot suit, only thing needed for that shot was a close up on the face, no need for the arms tubes or tail as that takes a lot longer to put on and take off, arms still need to have coverings to avoid any reflections of color

Why? Ridley absolutely made a shit last film, but things have yet again been explained, engineers used that good from xenos for genetic experimentation for longevity and amongst other things also for weapons that ultimately killed them in the end, but we also don’t know if their species is fully extinct or not because we didn’t go to their actual home planet. I think alien Romulus did a great job of tying things together.
