To the Newborn fans who love its design: Neca Toys officially announced a few months back that for their 7-8" Aliens Series 12 figures (out in 2017), they are doing the Alien: Resurrection wave. a)Ripley #8, b)Alien Warrior, c)Newborn All in scale with the rest of their previous Aliens waves. With new sculpts, bodies, articulation and poseability. We may never see the Newborn the same way again. Very hyped to see their final product. And that Warrior design is one of the best. Cheers!😊

DarkRaptor Yes, that's exactly what I told Neca when I replied to their official announcement of "Alien: Resurrection" wave for their Aliens Series 12 scheduled for 2017. I said: I know you will turn haters into lovers of this creature, but for Heaven's sake; do not give the Newborn sad eyes!, give him the pissed-off expression, and that will do the job. The jaw has to open big like a snake when it's about to eat its prey! (for a human head to fit in)😆😬😁

daikaiju lord Yes, it's probably the most unfairly hated Xeno-Human-Hybrid in the whole series. But I firmly believe it's because it was poorly executed visually in the film. If you think about it, they never showed him/her walking or full bodied moving around to show the dedign in all its glory. It's suppossed to be grotesque, hideous & monstrous looking, but it was also meant to make you feel empathy for it. The original sketch & design is amazing(full body), it's Hermaphrodite, with female/male organs. Of course they could never show that in the film, and that's why you never see below his torso in the movie. If u like this toy from Hasbro you should get it. But here's the great news: NECA toys announced officially that their 7-8" Aliens line will be releasing a set of 3 figures in 2017(I imagine just in time to commemorate the 20yrs anniversary) of "Alien: Resurrection"(1997) NECA is renowned worldwide for their realistic/faithful/accurate representations of movie figures, plus top-notch articulation. It's no secret the figures in their Aliens Wave 12 series pays homage to "Alien: Resurrection" and they have been announced to be the following: 1) Ripley #8, 2)Alien Warrior, 3)Newborn The Newborn will be fully articulated for maximum poseability and it might be the tallest in the wave. I like both movies on a lesser level than 1 & 2, but I think I just can't hate them because Sigourney was great on both!, Alien3 is a bit depressing though & I hate the ending. I hate to see Ripley die. Alien Resurrection brought her back with enhanced physical strength, gotta love that.😀
