NECA ALIENS 30TH ANNIVERSARY CREATURE PACK - XENOMORPH ACTION FIGURE REVIEW

With the 30th anniversary of the film Aliens upon us, NECA decided to grace us with a new accessory pack. In this review, Steve and Arnes go over the NECA Aliens Creature Pack. This set comes with 4 face huggers, 2 chestbursters, and 2 stasis chambers that are modeled after the ones from the film. Please enjoy.

I read about the facehuggers, and a few interesting facts are that first, through skin to skin contact, they administer a chemical which will render you unconscious. "Once securely in place, the Facehugger rapidly renders the host unconscious using a cyanose-based paralytic chemical,[7] administered simply through skin contact." "The sedative is extremely effective, capable of rendering an adult human comatose within seconds.", second interesting fact is, that the "balls" situated in either side of the facehugger, is actually for circulating oxygen into the host, honestly, i thought it was for the facehugger to breathe, but no, it's actually for the host to stay alive, considering its face is basically smothered by the facehugger, third interesting fact is, attempted removal of the facehugger is REEEEAAAAALLYYYYYYY fatal, mostly because the fingers, even though they're small, they're INCREDIBLY strong, don't ask how, don't ask why, i don't know myself either. "The spindly appearance of these digits should not be underestimated; they are incredibly strong, and have been known to tear the skin from the skulls of human victims when an attempt is made to remove them.[1] Once the digits are gripped around a host's head, they are nigh impossible to remove and implantation is virtually guaranteed.", fourth interesting fact is, while in their eggs (Which is named overmorph), they're technically "lifeless", and if the overmorph detects a host nearby, it'll basically transfer all of its blood to the facehugger, then it'll become "alive". "Prior to detecting a host, Facehuggers are actually inert and lifeless within their Ovomorph. When the Egg detects a host nearby, it will transfer all of the remaining bio-electric potential of its acidic blood to the Facehugger, and it is only then that the creature becomes "alive".". Pretty sure that's all of the interesting facts about the facehugger, anyways, guten tag. I just bought this and the Alien: Isolation Xenomorph figure... my first ever Alien figures and I must say I really do love them! Is there a difference between the original Xenomorph as seen in Alien, and the one in Isolation? I got the Isolation one because it was the closest one to the old look I could find (I love that translucent head with the skull visible inside it).

Correct, on Neca's website if you google the item. It states you can fill up the tube with water, so I'm assuming the bottom is sealed from any potential leaks. Not sure if thats 100% true tho.
