Wow! You really got my attention. I was very recently so disappointed by my country's choice in the latest election in the U.S. The majority have chosen a life of division, fear and hatred. I really thought we were ready to choose the other path. It has been shocking for me. I am dealing with this by detaching emotionally and sending as much love as I can (with much sadness) to all those who chose the other path. I struggle with releasing fear. There is a great song that describes the universes attempts to give us a choice for the higher path, "As an Eagle Stirreth in Her Nest" by Maria Muldaur.. Thank you, Ellie. Could have been free beer that led your family to go to Easter services - but I also believe that this is an example of what I call 'Christian culture'. It's more sociological programming & the practice of customs than it is about religious or spiritual beliefs. If you watch or read about Near Death Experiences, nearly all say God does not punish. God is Love. Life reviews are a chance for souls to evaluate their own experiences on earth, how much they spread love in the world & helped others & where they came up short. A really good place to start self-development IMO is Eckhart Tolle's book The Power of Now. Had this book for a number of years but finally I'm reading it now.

Wrong they do not want violence and destruction. This planet, even as humans have grossly abused and degraded it is still one of the garden spots of the galaxy. Many of the off planet people have a long term relationship/investment in seeing that their property is maintained including us. The problem is the non interference directive that all agreed to. We collectively have to invite them in without violence.

That's funny, lots of families where I grew up in North Georgia, USA, had an Easter observance tradition too. We only went once a year, though my father's family were very serious about religion. Both of my parents were raised in a Baptist Christian tradition. I think for Catholics, their favorite service to observe was probably Christmas Mass. But for protestants, it's Easter Sunday. Which was actually a celebration of SPRING. New clothes, Easter bunny, a feast with new potatoes, peas, ham, etc.... notwithstanding, and its amusing to me now, that we were really celebrating SPRING EQUINOX, even though no one really remembered that in 1950/ 1960s USA. How quickly we forget. 😅

Angelic or his perception of angelic. Are angels these great light beings we all perceive them to be? I know, I question everything! It's how I was raised. I want to see all sides and make my own judgements. We can not find better ways to do things if we do not question what is or may be. But, caution, just because we can, doesn't mean we should. People are just another resource of our planet to them. We do not need others to save us, we need to rise up and save ourselves. There are more of us than them, the elite.

I have always been intrigued by the word "meek" as mention. This is what I have found regarding that word's meaning: What does the Bible say about meekness? Jesus said, "Blessed are the meek, for they shall inherit the earth" (Matthew 5:5). The word meek from the original language was used to describe reining in a stallion. It is the idea of a horse being controlled by a bit and bridle. The horse is choosing to submit to authority. That is meekness. It is power under constraint. It does not actually mean what current society tends to believe it means. I always found that interesting. I would be interested in knowing what you think of this.

If I may add something here. You said the horse chooses to submit. Having a choice implies having the freedom to do so. And submits means to yield to. So maybe in this context, the word meek means choosing with our inner authority to yield to the way of love. I think choice is every humans super power.

In the course of my studies, I heard Revelations was written for a specific group of people who were being persecuted around 2000 years ago to give them hope. But it had to be written so the persecutors didn't know it was about them. But I have no way to verify this.

Humans make sense of information through a three part psychophysical process of sensing, perceiving, and cognition, the psychophysical model of learning. Your analyses fit this model perfectly. My question is: are our words (perceptions) adequately representing (sensing) what the spiritual world is saying (cognition). Specifically, the word "love." Does the word love describe fully that which the other side is telling us? Aboriginal and indigenous discussions of the spiritual seem to be describing something more universal. I had an accident once in which I received a concussion and for a month was receiving what I called “spiritual downloads”. One particular download had to do with language and how the human languages are basically inadequate and often false due to interpretation and manipulation, oh there truth as well, but our languages and how we interpret what is said are still very fallible. What I was told is there are only two true languages in the universe that of unconditional love (which has been misinterpreted, but the “language” and vibration of it is pure) and mathematics (which also has a vibration to it, think music). I think of Fibonacci’s equation where the spiral would represent love and the various squares represent mathematics. Also I believe both components are needed in creation. Anyway, it was an interesting download at the time and makes some sense to me, but then as I interpreted the download am I misinterpreting through my own words. 🤔

@@Leslie58 Thanks for sharing this. I have read similar stories for decades and the concept of words limiting our intelligence has been studied by many authors for decades. I agree on the concept of any idea being both product (content) and process (interactions, interdependencies). Likewise, the concept of love being both content and process expands its ability to explain what is expected and requested of us as a species. Spirit is unlimited and never ending and provides a constructive purpose to our existence. It is all far greater than I have realized, which provides for a future of growth and learning, which I have suddenly realized is the purpose of my existence. Hence, Quantum Thinking. Thanks again.

I have known since the mid nineties of Summers and his point of view regarding many off planet species. When you compare the European arrival in the Americas then there could be a useful comparison. I have been sure there were other people visiting since I was a child. Summers and others have given a fuller view of the complexity of our history and current events. Imagine, if we could set aside our superiority and imagine that people who can travel from star systems around and about might be smarter. Might be able to easily manipulate us as we do a three year old child using bright shiny objects, money or music and god beings. Just saying we collectively might not be able to know who the good gods are.

I have read tons of science fiction as a child, then studied Anthropology. The way the Native Americans thought the Spanish were gods, always made me think that if we are visited, it will be by US, just a higher evolved or technologically advanced version of ourselves. I don't credit the savior theory even though I had a suicide episode with a light that changed my vision, allowing me to see the planet in a new way. It was not in human form. We were not a religious family, not even once a year. I doubt the wanting resources theory simply because our resources are also depleted and there are endless free planets to plunder. Ours is an alive and pleasant residence, though. But 8 billion of us makes it crowded. It's all interesting thought.

As our telescopes get better and better, there are not many planets like ours. The billions and billions of stars you can see at night are a just fraction of the amount of uninhabitable stars. I think they found ONE so far that MIGHT be similar to ours. So it makes me think we are very unique.

listening to this podcast is a challenge for me. I like to think i listen to others and weigh their opinions and reach a consensus. unfortunately, my religious background and education flares up anytime i tune in to anything about Revelation. I recognize I have a deep aversion to any teaching from evangelicals - i grew up believing their theology and then i did my own study of the sacred text and discovered I had been lied to. One does not read the newspaper the same way one reads an allegory. Revelation is a particular type of writing and should not be taken literally. I do find it interesting that Christianity was popular during the Age of Pisces. Good riddance to the hypocrisy of the evangelicals! i have not read the other comments but am sure someone has already pointed out ichthus (Fish in Greek) was an acronym for Jesus ( "I") Christ (chi) God's (theos) son (uios) Savior.
