This death is more "Alien" I guess: sneaky attacks, straight to the point, and a hint of acidic blood to the wound. But the final release is more interesting and the whole movie plays around the acidic blood more. Creativity this time is on another level for Alien: Romulus imo. Also, remember when Bjorn played the finger-nose joke on Andy? Well, yeah, jokes on him this time.

Tyler had a similar death, so i can why they chose the original. Also, Bjorn was a shithead, so he needed a more gruesome death.

I think it should have been a combination of both scenes... take the lead in of this one until he gets pulled close, then get him to frantically attack the egg from underneath as a last ditch effort and have acid rain down on him. Both of the scenes in isolation kinda suck.

Tbh I used to think him just laying there while the acid drips down was silly until I remembered in the Alien RPG there's a part there they mention the tails inject a venom which knocks hosts out, hense how they are able to take hosts. Since in the film it just swipes his face I takenit thay he didn't get a full shot. Now I maybe doing my own head canon and making it out to be more tha it is but I'd like to think they thought of this.

@@AGUC426 that's neat but I don't think there's even been a single line (even in passing) in any of the movies to validate that. Of course I could be wrong, but information your audience doesn't know is information they don't know
