They did pretty good with Prey and if the rumors are true, they’re planning a AvP reboot series for Hulu

Well, it's actually fox that is producing these movies along with prey. Disney is just taking most of the money it makes and is letting fox play around with the franchises. So let's hope Disney stays out completely, as they ruin everything.

@@abrimfulofasha fox hasn’t existed as an actual studio since 2019, like literally. I get it tho, it technically still does as 20th Century but Disney does have the final say on the cut of the films since they distribute them. Disney wouldn’t have released Prey, Poor Things or any other R rated film.

@SS4Luxray twentieth century fox co-exist within disney, so they still exist just under different management. Disney doesn't really care how 20th century 'fox' does business, as long as it makes them bank. They have to check a couple of boxes, but nothing to the extent like what they're doing with star wars as that would be a really bad business move. They have certain franchises they use to pander to certain audiences. They don't really know what to do with the predator and alien franchise, so they gave it to fox, as that's where most things go that they aren't entirely interested in, but know it will make them money. So yes, Disney have the last say, but they don't really check upon it as much as Marvel and lucasfilm. Either way we're sort of on the same page. I think 🤔 Disney ruins a lot of franchises, but because fox has this franchise its In kinda safer hands due to what I said above.
