Just wondering. Why don't you live stream BSUP on this channel ? You had over 12,000 views and nearly 900 likes last time I looked. All those have gone with the re-upload.

Because this channel has 8000 subscribers and my channel has 200k. The reason for the split between stream and upload channels is the same as EFAP and Open Bar being reuploaded on separate channels. KZbin (used to, currently I have no idea) ranks stream VODs as regular videos. But because stream VODs don’t get anything like the same number of views as regular videos, they end up wrecking your channel in the algorithm, meaning your regular videos stop being recommended because the algorithm thinks your channel is dying.

YT downgraded my Subscription to the channel to Personalized (the bell was not filled in with the ring quotes around it), so I did not get a notification of the video. Luckily it did appear in my suggested feed. So if you did not get a notification always check to make sure YT is not screwing with the channel and downgrading your subscription.

Alien: Earth sounds like another girlboss with a physically weak girl leading a team of elite soldiers. So I would not hold out much hope for it unfortunately. Also a lot of people are calling it a movie, but it is a TV Series.

The "Jedi mind trick," question is better understood in terms of, "when is the use of violence acceptable or needed and to what degree?" But ...Warning hot take incoming... ... *These kinds of questions are why I don't really like Star Wars in general.* I get that Lucas wanted a straight forward Good vs Evil, Cabellian Hero's Journey. But Star Wars does the trick that is quite common in sifi/fantasy and many other works. Where we the audience see the Jedi as good becuase the story makes them do good things and the Sith are bad becuase the Story makes the Sith do bad things. The problem though is that when you look at what the Jedi and Sith say, a number of problems start creeping up and this creates a disconnect. The one that bothers me the most on a personal level is that a lot of what the Jedi say when put into IRL practice has led to the worst outcomes in human history. Things like, "the greater good," "detachment from worldly concerns," "The imposition of order on chaos" are very dangerous. While what the Sith say has a lot of moral virtue in IRL practice, "placing your loved ones above others." "gaining strength and independence for yourself," "active participation in the world," These are good things. I'm not saying that "Star Wars" is objectively bad but there are some issues with the philosophy of it.

Agreed, He's getting very tiresome. I love Sexist and racist and homophobic humor but it does start to get boring when it's 90 percent of what you contribute to the conversation om EVERY podcast that he's on. Vex is actually funny and varied with hers and has way more to talk about.
