Wonderful. This is a game i've been looking forward to playing with my friends for awhile. Nice video quality. I didn't even realize you could netplay with MAME.

Any luck finding that one? It doesn't sound familiar based on what you said, but if it's a 4 player arcade beat em up, it's very likely I have played it before.

That's because regular versions of MAME can't netplay. You'd need MAME32k or MAME++.

It's so fun watching no commentary gameplay walkthroughs but am curious is there games similar to alien storm? I really want to know if there is any games similar to this one and what type of game this game is a rail shooter or what kind? @everyone and arronmunroe

Can't think of too much offhand. This particular game is called a beat em up, even though it does have sections that are similar to a rail shooter. There are some other alien themed arcade games, such as Aliens, Alien VS Predator and Alien Syndrome. Only Alien VS Predator is a beat em up of those 3 listed.
