~EDIT~ Very sorry for the re-upload but I had to edit some parts that had caused the video to become copyright claimed. Thanks for understanding ~EDIT~ Decoding these lost transmissions from Science Officer Mitchell pertaining to Romulus Labs on board The Renaissance Station takes time and must be done away from Weyland-Yutani's prying eyes, I hope you agree? There are many more secrets to unravel that led up to the catastrophic events in which ultimately led to the stations destruction. In the meantime, I'll continue to toil away in an effort to uncover more research that took place involving the infamous specimens housed there. If you don't hear from me within 12 days, assume that Weyland thugs have discovered my location and all is lost. Therefore, consider this my shameless way of asking you to share this video for transparency purposes ;)

What an original and highly imaginative, yet entertaining, take on some of the most perplexing and intruiging aspects of the Xenomorph. By all means toil away, and we can participate in the dissemination of this body of work and I for one can not wait to hear back from in the very near future!

LOVE the little wisp of smoke from an acid burn on the screen. Nice touch :) (p.s. ..... As we learned in the film Reign of Fire, the dragons mixed two separate organic chemicals that when combined produced fire. Is it possible that the "acid" is in fact two or more active internal plasma chemicals which are maintained by body temp or systemic countermeasures which when released or ejected combine to produce this acid outside the body and do not or should not mix within the system for obvious reasons. Cheers :)

@@brianonley yeah I like that idea. I guess I sort of cover that mechanic in the vid but a slightly different explanation. It certainly adds more depth to the blood rather than it simply being a constant strength all the time. Reign of Fire was a great film. Haven't seen it in ages though. Thanks for your input buddy 👍

I often wondered if the acid acted as a battery. The creature could consume its immediate environment for mass but use the acid for energy generation. Consuming the environment would have tge added benefit of camouflage. If it consumed rock it would look like rock. If it consumed metal it would look like a metal object and not be immediately visible.
@ENTERTAINtheDUDE3 ай бұрын
@@Concreteowl great points and it would respect the overall opinion that it is the perfect organism. I like the camo idea and we've only really seen them in the same sort of environment right? Who knows how else they could adapt. With enough imagination, there is an ocean of ideas to explore with this fantastic creature 👍

@@ENTERTAINtheDUDE the general appearance of the egg, the face hugger and chest burster are more organic as we would understand it. The big chap and queen have Giger's biomechanical appearance. But as you say we only really encounter the alien in industrial circumstances (outside the AVP movies). Giger's designs for Vincent Ward's Alien 3 included undulating spines under the carapace to mimic the corn fields in the monastery station. One can also imagine it covered in woodgrain and mimicking the creaking of wood in the way the classic xeno makes mechanical sounds like thumping metal and hissing like steam.
@ENTERTAINtheDUDE3 ай бұрын
@@Concreteowl I vaguely remember that actually. Maybe I heard Alien Theory discussing it. I kind of believe these lore aspects are better discussed by fans and comics these days rather than the films haha!

Yay! Very well done intro ...so this is what you were telling me about! Absolutely amazing and first of its kind! Can't wait for more..... Excellento! Full marks for theatrical aspect! Also very liking the science elements, its chemistry and biology. Right up my street! Prehistoric biology - c.f. carnivorous dinosaurs (like our modern day reptiles) would have to have an extrmely acidic stomach perhaps as much as twice or three time that of ours. By comparing terrestrial conditions, physiology and biochemistry we establish the basal parameters and then can explore further into the realms of exo planets and xeno biology. Wonderful hints given that the science officer has already formed some thoughts and hypotheses as to the (Biomechanical) origins of the Xenomorph and its possible native environs. It would be amazing to deleve deeper, but if one draws some hints (or imagination) from the original Alien movie, what can be learnt from the Space Jocky? The collosal Juggernat - Space Derelict? Both were biomechanical, subtle, and organically integrated. And VERY ancient! Where is the power plant? How is energy generated, stored, transferred? I would bet you a million dollars that the hive material is also acid resitant? Those giant conduits on the mothership could perhaps give us some clues? And what abou tthe copious amounts of that sticky saliva / secretions that seem to overflow uncontrollably from the Xenomorph. Any purpose? Is it a by-product of its acidic metabolism? Is it some form of biological defence mechanism? Some insects secrete glue-like substance that we collect and use as furniture polish and treatment. Since the other questions that relate t o the Xenomorphs accelrated rate of growth, it's ability to canabalise on inorganic materials such as plastics. metals, composit materials would make sense to see that metalic teeth and the inner jaws that can rip right through bodies with ease. The acid can then be used as a digestive juice much like how spiders and other arachnoids feed. Finally, with this creature being substantially mechanical, how would nanites and nanobiotechnology figure in its overall physiology biochemistry and overal its purpose. It is far too perfect to have been an experimental project as something like this in evolutionary biology would take millions of years. Personally not too keen on the black goo (rip off from the X-File) as it is a lazy plot point, and was never a part of the original story line (which I love & respect alot). Also it has never been properly anchored in the lore excep in the most superficial way. Do with it what you like / can as I do belive you have great imagination and scope of vision to perhaps give us better perspective than what we have been given so far in the franchise. This is the sort of additional content that W-Y undoubtedly archives, but has hitherto been absent from the lore (by and large). This truely deserves to be on the Alien DVD Bonus Disc in a future release..... Keep it up Dude!

@@Sci-Fi_Quizshow many many thanks. Just woke up and read through your amazingly thought out points. I know from our previous conversation that you've been very interested in these topics and you raised some great points, especially regarding the derelict composition and the pilot himself. One of sci fi's biggest mysteries that can be open to interpretation by any self respecting Alien fan at this point. Sadly, I had to re-upload the vid due to a piece of video causing copyright issues and when you re-upload, KZbin hinders it's ability to gain views annoying. But I'm glad you got a chance to check it out and I appreciate your perspective buddy. 👍

@@ENTERTAINtheDUDE These can be annoying, but never lose steam over it. A pain in the butt for sure. The story from the perpective of a science officer, like a log of entries, is pure genius! To be honest, there are so few Channels that are willing to put in the required 'homework', bring in a fresh perspective, keep an open mind, and tell the narrative in such a light-hearted, yet meaningful and captivating manner. I'm along for the ride and once again encourage your efforts as you may well ACE this treatment of what I consider to be one of the greatest Sci-Fi IPs. I agree, there is just so much that can be teased out, and also incorporate the wealth of stuff available in the Alien universe (within reason). I mean one could possibly consider an encounter of the Xenomorph with Bob the Builder.... ROFL LMAO...but that's pushinig it beyond ridiculous. But I think you get my drift?
