CORRECTIONS: The pickup is called Retro Active Hot 70, and I meant to say that someone had said two volume knobs, one for each pickup, when it's just a regular 1 volume, and 1 tone knob, as it should be. Also, the Sustainiac options are: Fundamental, Blend, and Harmonic.

I have the Sun Valley Super Shredder Exotic FR. I put a JB in the bridge and a Little 59 in the neck and added coil splitting and it's an extremely versatile guitar. Love the neck feel on Schecter guitars. The Nick Johnson is also great. I put the electronics on it I wanted as well and added coil splitting (Suhr Thornbucker / Little 59 neck and Classic Stack middle) and put a Fishman TSV Powerbridge (Piezo tyle) in and I can do pretty much anything I need to on it. It's for sure a do it all guitar now. Have 5 Schecter guitars in total now. Really great for the price you pay (have not paid more than $900 for any of them new). I buy guitars by the feel of them as I can change the electronics, nut, tuners etc if it doesn't fit my needs or sound I am looking for. Hope you are enjoying the Sun Valley! 👍

You took out the Susatiniac? That's the best part, and the sole reason I bought it. Love mine. It stays in tune, and the Sustainiac is loads of fun.

@@Alienadin No = The Exotic model does not come with one. 👍 My Schecter C-1 FR-S SLS Elite does have the Fishman w/ Sustainiac and those stayed put. They sound great.

Beautiful Schecter, sounds amazing, the sustainer Is a Fernandez?, its gunny but im want one too! Since watch a guitar player for my country explaning Aand showing is guitar(Is a Schecter too!)
@Alienadin Жыл бұрын
Thanks, mate. No, it's a Sustainiac. The same as in Steve Vai's, Joe Satriani's guitars etc.. Not the Fernandez system. Schecter is pretty much the only company that uses the Sustainiac in affordable guitars. I don't have a guitar which I could see myself modding, so I eventually had to get one, and I am glad I did. It's really fun.

I have that same guitar and I liked it in the beginning but after playing a couple of shows with it I just didnt like how it sat in a mix.

That is realy cool guitar, I like the sustainiac installed on it. Is that a floyd rose special on the bridge or a FR1000? Does it flutter very well?
@Alienadin9 ай бұрын
It is a FR Special, but with better screws, and it does flutter very well indeed.

Don't they have this color with ebony fingerboard ?

I don't know. I only like maple fingerboards.

How do you compare the build quality and playability to the rg550?
@Alienadin8 ай бұрын
I don't. The RG550 is far superior imo.

I was intrigued by this model but I read that the saddle is pretty narrow, which is not my cup of... coffee! 😂

Seems great but some luthiers agree that it is a poorly manufactured guitar when it comes to build quality. What do you think? I always avoid Indonesian-made guitars.
@Alienadin9 ай бұрын
Well, it most certainly can't compete with the MIJ Ibanez guitars. You do feel that the tuners, etc. are inferior, but I basically bought it for the sustainiac system anyway.
@Riverking16 ай бұрын
Which luthiers? Have any article links? They're made in the same factory as many other brands made in Indonesia (my Fender is Indonesian) and I doubt the build quality is any less than comparably priced models.

So according to this young man's You Tube "About" page he died? Just like a couple of weeks ago then? And by what did he die?

Thank you for replying to me regarding @@Alienadin & his passing. Wow. That is incredibly tragic. My condolences to you. Where did the accident happen? Was it in the news? And I cannot help but notice that with what I suppose was his last video, namely "Guitar Unboxing, Demo,....," so this very video here, he posited the question in the thumbnail of the video, "Last guitar?" He did not realize that it would have been indeed his last guitar. I am so sorry for your loss. May you find that Christ Jesus the Almighty wants to help you through this overwhelming season. Be blessed. 🙏🏼 Again, thank you for having replied to me & for providing me the answer to my question.

@@fiery.mercaba Thanks a lot for your kind words, mate. I thought it was clear that it was a silly joke. Sorry, but I have a rather dark sense of humour. I hope I am smarter than falling off a mountain trying to take a selfie. I just wrote it to test if anyone even reads anything anymore, as the attention span of people these days is about 20seconds. I really hope this won't be my last guitar. I have been busy working on my 2nd album. Hope I didn't cause any distress. I am known for my sick April Fool's jokes as well. Ha, ha

Ok!!! We know what the sustain switch does! Play it regularly and tune it up so we can hear the sound and tone of the guitar! Thanks!
