The only other thing to look at on the JCB 35 is inside the fuel filter head there should be a little rubber flap seal that opens when fuel going in to filter and stops it draining back on the supply side if there's any dirt trapped under it it becomes a two way needs to act like a one way valve. Worth checking and easy to clean out. The hand primer can cause an issue of the equivalent of a pin hole leak on a hose but normally once the machine running normally no longer is an issue till system opened again

The o ring seal comes with the fuel bowl/ water in fuel indicator under that fuel filter. The other thing is if there's any dirt in bottom of fuel tank causing a blockage on pick up pipe at bottom of tank

Teletruc should have a little filter in the tank Chris .on the end of the suction tube. It blocks easy then slides up the tube and covers the end of the pipe

Deutz engine Chris, what you think is injectors is actually fuel pumps for each cylinder, injectors are in the head, re boom, remove two hoses at the rear boom for the boom, I attach open ended hoses into a bucket, then with another machine push the boom out from the fork carriage. I’ve tried educating operators to leave the boom out a meter. If there are any JCB lads reading this, it’s a really bad design.

We had a truck once doing same as that forklift…. Can't remember if the earlier 35 had a mechanical lift pump on it or not but if you had the fuel pipe off at the high pressure pump end would have expected a higher flow of fuel coming out when turning engine over

It's the stopper I had a similar issue with a jcb digger very similar fule pump set up and it turned out to be the spring in the stopper going week same problem that's ur best bet

You would have thought with all the technology trucks have now you would have thought them cab pumps would be electro hydraulic using a main override switch on the dash when switched to the on position it allows you to use a raise and lower the cab from outside the cab.

If that the deutz engine they have a little gauze filter on the lift pump one Philips screw/bolt undo then black plastic bit comes out of the pump and is a filter just behind the dipstick if there's a ring of bolts around can also undo and see if pump is leaking and filled up behind the diaphragm with oil can drain oil out but will need replacing
