It's not a simple thing what "sobriety" really is. Almost nobody takes -no- drugs. In the case of recovery it's important for the person to avoid the drug that ruins their lives, & other drugs that would lead them to that. Nicotine/Caffeine is almost always excluded because they're simply not intoxicating to that degree. No one is losing their house to buy a pack of smokes, & if you took the coffee away at AA meetings there'd be hell to pay. He never said Kratom by name, I interpreted it as Kava but we don't actually know. Regardless, I've tried both & I don't imagine doing either would make Bobby slip up & drink booze/take pills. But everyone is different. It's good to be concerned but we've seen now it was of little consequence.
