I loved the fact you sat ther straight faced knitting away the whole time Laura was talking about her handcuffs and "accessories" LOL! I have the same Irish lace book you used and want to make things out of it next year. Finally cleared to crochet again so working on Christmas gifts again for now.

Shannon, I like your alien hats - the baby one is too cute for words! How did you do the hood of your granddaughters sweater? Did you follow a pattern of used a pattern as a guideline? From the front it looks to me as if you could have grafted the two sides together, but I can't figure out how the back portion fits into the picture. I am just curious. If I can't see how something is done, I MUST know. I am sure you are like that too. If I watched the live of hooker vs hooker, I definitely would have voted for you. I think your vintage gloves are beautiful. When I was young, we wore them to church every Sunday. I even have photos where I was holding my daughter, wearing a pair. They were not all vintage gloves, but you get what I mean.
