Great voice characterisation as usual. The Emperor started sounding a bit reminiscent of Davros (of Tom Baker's era) and the subordinate talking to the admiral sounded a bit Skeksis-y (The Dark Crystal movie).

As a young man playing the game Stratego I attempted on several occasions to set the board in such a way that I could win the game through an effective defense only. As you might guess, this was a total failure. You can not with the game Stratego through only defense nor can you win any real war with defense alone, as was proven in Vietnam. If they had truly managed to keep any ship from escaping they should have patched up their ships as best as possible and made a savage counter strike, perhaps on the enemy home world, before the enemy knew what hit them. Use the stealth to pick off several spread out enemy battle groups in ambushes while they're trying to reorganize. The one thing you can not do is simply sit and wait for the enemy to come to you over and over again..

Yeah? no secret unannounced colony ships... JUST in case kinda thing?? no stealth mission to see what is going on out in the galaxy?? What happened to "information is the best weapon" why are the humans just waiting? kind of a stupid ending to the story. unless we get a continuation of the story.

Some people think they have to describe everything forgetting about the fact that unnecessary descriptions slow the story progress.
