This is my fan-reading of ALIENS: NIGHTMARE ASYLUM by Steve Perry! Originally published by Bantam/Spectra books in 1993. Adapted from the Dark Horse comics series of the same title. Book #2 in the trilogy
SYNOPSIS:
Wilks, Billie, and Bueller are the last survivors of a devastating assault on the aliens' home planet. They are again refugees when they return to the solar system, fleeing Earth's Alien infestation in a military transport that hurtles them through unknown space and an unknown destination.
They are unaware that the remote colony and military outpost they will approach is at the mercy of a general named Spears with an agenda all his own. Now Billie, Wilks, and Bueller face a new nightmare, and it is nothing they could ever have imagined: a gift of madness from an alien world, an unbalanced mind and the experiences of a mysterious pilot named Lieutenant Ellen Ripley.

First things first massive thankyou for reading these books I read the set 20 + yrs ago and absolutely loved them, I've been wanting to read them again for years but as I stand now the years have definitely taken a toll on me so to have the choice of listening instead of ready is nothing short of awsome, bud thankyou very much bud!

After years of looking for a proper audio version of my favorite childhood comic, I finally found this. I can't read anymore because I'm blind, so this is heaven for me. Perfect voice, flawless audio quality, FULL visceral narration... But... BUT they are using the inferior version with ""Billy & Wilks"" instead of Newt and Hicks.... They weren't named "Billy & Wilks" in the comic I read as teenager, "Billy & Wilks" was an invention of a primitive corporation trying to preserve continuity in their failing film IP... It feels like God is playing a prank on me... I have no mouth and I must scream

Loving this! I know that someone's done a reading of Female War but it's nowhere near as good as this narration (it sounds as if it's being read by a robot - I swear it's like someone has let Uwe Boll near audiobooks).

@@xanthatekills in all seriousness, I love those Alien books and I have too much time on my hands currently because of health reasons but because of those health reasons I'm not able to read as much as I would like at the moment and not many of those books are available in audiobook format and text-to-speech software doesn't cut it. So, I really appreciate what you're doing and English isn't even my first language. It's stuff like that that gets me through the day.

"Christian"...besides being a dumb irrelevant comment, confusing in intent one can only assume you're a Christian and to you "anti christian" is an insult therfore proclaiming that "anti christians made this" is your attempt at talking shit, I don't see how anything in that chapter was anti christian tbh, however you completely misspelled "Christian" what you wrote is not a typo or accident, instead of "ians" you spelled "ens" a completely wrong letter and also leaving out a whole letter...you're seriously that stupid...I can see why you're christian
