Cool tidbit, this is identical to the queen facehugger from he deleted scene in Alien 3 that didn't even make it to the director's cut, but pictures are online if it. Great, really creepy design.

Prob cause of "budget" reasons.... It's easier and more cost effective to make one solid piece mold as opposed to a whole bunch of little pieces that will be then put together... All their production money prob went to the other 2 figures in this line...

I've had the original Kenner Giant Queen Facehugger, and it was pretty cool for what it was. I am loving the sculpt and detailing on NECAs version, hopefully I'll have one in my collection before too much longer.

Christolclear101 ... If he is referring to the deluxe Signature one! Sorry! That one is bigger! It was sold for 10+ year old creep boys to scare Mom and sis with by placing over face! I have 1 loose and 1 MIP and so far awaiting NECAs attempt - still not, yet!? But maybe and at $40+ with their details!?

The smaller of the two Queen Facehuggers is to scale with the figures if you go by its original scene from Aliens 3 (which was a deleted scene)

This one I had to skip, Mantis and Gorilla were MUST haves, but while this looks amazing, I feel that it is not worth the price ....maybe at $10....if I find this set cheap I'll buy it though

Bo Clarke ... I agree! In 1997, also, Hasbro did Star Wars B' Omar the Monk (repackaged in 2002 at same price) for $10 which has more articulation than this. With the mini-face Hugger, OK!? $15 tops for this two pack!? That's $8 more in someone else's deep pockets! As far as the human-kid sized 1997 deluxe Face Hugger of Hasbro (? the one I think he is talking about to not compare to) I have 1 opened and played with (lost packaging) and 1 MIB! Sorry! It is bigger! To the scale of a young child (10 years+) to play with and scare Mom and Sis with! ; )

I agree too!! Finally got my hands on the Mantis & Gorilla alien figures & they're, "AWESOME!!!" This one I can pass. The other 2 are fun to set up dioramas with either Predators and/or Space Marines.

Baron Of Hell ... not quite!! The deluxe Hasbro Signature one is for a 10+ year old boy creep who places it over his face to scare Mom and sis with!! Maybe the deluxe "Chest Burster" was but with NECA and their details!? $40+ price point expectations!

Are Neca planning on doing Terminater at any point? Kenner had some unique Terminator characters, right? Sure I had a gold & black claw armed Terminator figure. Would be fun to see that get this same modern style update.

I feel like the lack of articulation or action features like its Kenner counterpart really makes this a pass for me. Really not worth the $20+ price tag. This figure should have been an accessory for something bigger or included a bunch of little Face Huggers or Eggs. Just my opinion.

Ringer149 The legs have ball joints, and thats enough. Putting more articulation it would compromise the structural integrity of the legs.

Horzzo ... good price point call! Hasbro did B' Omar the Monk "Spider Droid" of even better articulation in 1997-2002 with $10 price point! And a mini one!? $14-15 should be the price! $8 is going in someone's pockets here!?
