For everyone wondering, this new paradox is labeled with an epsilon (which looks like an E) because in math, that Greek letter is used to denote an arbitrarily small positive real number (basically, one over infinity). That looked like 2 paradoxes to me, 1. You entering an infinitly small space. 2. You entring a nonexistent space, the only place where the yellow block existed was within the clone of itself but without itself outside of the clone entering the clone is meaningless as it teleports you to a place that doesn't actually exist (inside of the clone). Edit: after some thinking I understand why the 2nd one wouldn't work as a paradox in the game but if you tried to push a block outside of its clone when there is no copy of it outside of the clone it would just end in the void

Could also be referring to ε numbers which are ordinals with the property ω^α = α due to the similarities in structural representation
@igorjosue89572 жыл бұрын
Infinitesimal?
@frimi85932 жыл бұрын
@@0NBalfa0 that’s weird, I’m not sure what you’re referring to. I mean by the definition you’ve just used, a is simply any ordinal bigger than ω_1 which doesn’t really fit the typical ε use cases as “generally arbitrarily small positive number”. Also no such finite ordinal exists because the ordinal a aren’t a dense order; the smallest ordinal is {} immediately followed by {{}}, then {{}, {{}}}, etc. similar to how the natural numbers don’t have an ε representation that makes sense
@0NBalfa02 жыл бұрын
@FRIMI First off, no, it's not any number greater than ω_1 as, for instance ω_1 +1 doesn't have that property. The least possible ε number is ε_0 and it can be visually seen as an infinite tower of omegas ω^(ω^(ω^(...))). So, since this is a recursive game, I could see the getting inside or outside a box as an abstraction of applying this operation and the joke being here that writing ε could be saying this is where you are. Of course, there is also the mentioned before ε from the ε,δ limit definition which can be seen as the also mentioned infinitesimal; hence, you cannot escape (Though even without the infinitesimal thing, a similar argument can be made). But ya, the ordinals here I am viewing in terms of their representation, and they are still an analogy.

With the epsilon case, there was another interesting thing you did. You put the real box inside itself, so even if it wasn't an infinitesimally small space, it would be impossible to ever leave the real box, as you'd only enter either the clone, or a void, depending on positioning.

In mathematics while the ∞ stands for "a number greater than any arbitrarily chosen number" The epsilon Ɛ stands far "a number closer to 0 (or sometimes a different number) than any arbitrarily chosen number" Both in maths aren't used as actual numbers but instead used to show that for every case a number exists that fulfills the requirement.

As a Mathematics students; Epsilon is, just like Aleph 0 (or the magnitude of the natural numbers, a type of infinity), a concept from Analysis. If you have a sequence of numbers like x_k=1/k for k>0, then you say this sequence converges to a real number c if for every distance epsilon from c you can find a natural number n such that x_n as well as those x_k after x_n lie in that distance epsilon from c. So in this way, epsilon is often used to describe a number closd to 0, in some areas like derivatives it's actually defined as epsilon^2=0, so it is not 0 but so small that its square is 0
@faziarry2 жыл бұрын
we got a few types of paradox/recursion 1-No recursion 2-Normal recursion: this is a level inside a level, and if you push the level outside you get to the void 3-Many levels recursion: A is inside B, and B is inside A, pushing a block outside creates a normal recursion 4-False recursion: A clone inside the block it is cloning. If you enter the clone, you get to the target, but exiting the target doesn’t take you to the clone 5-Infinite small space: a target inside it’s clone

Another reason it's a paradox is that the real level is inside its clone. And since we know you can't exit a clone, you're stuck in there forever. You created an infinitely small bubble universe separate from the rest of reality.
well, you got into E because you put a block into it's copy, so when you entered it, you immediately went to an infinitely small space!
