The x16 just needs a brighter screen (500 nit minimum) and better chassis color options. 3-tone color scheme's look awkward on this laptop. The outside should either be all Lunar White or be all sand blasted aluminum. Still use my Alienware x15 r2 daily and my x15 r1 is holding up well too.

I agree that the regular price is too high, but Dell constantly runs sales on the X16 and combining a coupon code with Rakuten cash back, I got the Ultra 9 with a 4090, 32 GB RAM, 2 TB SSD, and the cherry keyboard for effectively $2,600. Routinely the Alienware has been the better value for me at the high-end.

But performance I was getting was around 70fps on both highest and lowest setting cod warzone with HEAVY stutters all the time, 1% low was 20ish, same in other games I tested, escape from tarkov 40fps only with huge stutters, cannot even run Minecraft without huge stutters, teardown 100ish high, unturned 70ish high, beamng drive 70ish high. And yes gpu never ran over 80%, most of the time less than 40. CPU is ALWAYS either one or two core running max or all core max 90+utilisation with no thermal throttling. Tried all troubleshooting and fresh windows nothing worked. So I’d say be cautious when buying a intel ultra cpu gaming laptop

Alienware is back. By the way I know you crying 😭 fake for the brightness what was that Legion Pro or another top top end Screen you showed Google comparison. Go back to your own comparison, is there ANY difference in full lighting, is there difference In the contrast of the alien ware being soooo good at those NITS that I can read all fine print on Google . The example you showed, go back check it out in this your own video, the comparison screen is maybe just as bright or slightly brighter SLIGHT barely noticable. BUT I can't read because of contrast the fine print ITS NOT BECAUSE it's so much brighter ,you made it seem like DONT BUY THIS. Well thank God I got m15 R7, KZbin reviewers rated it already that one at 395 or so Nits or 390 something much closer to 400 nits I ordered. 400 nits is MORE than good enough for my 50% bright even. I can't believe your only real real con was the screen bright? It was exactly same brightness but better contrast in your comparison? You couldn't even show like a comparison where at max Alienware and then max competition really much brighter and contrast. The one you showed as "comp" has unreadable lines. This comp is insane 240FPS screen mine is rated real 400 nits m15 R7, and QHD+ AND it's a 2-3ms panel.
