In my opinion BnB is the internet authority on good Vs no good AliExpress bass fishing gear. So, when I got this reel out of curiosity and thought it was good overall and very good for the money, I thought subscribers would be interested. The Reel Test downgraded it and said it wouldn't cast 5 gram plus lures for him without backlashing. However, In my experience, it will cast the 1.7G jellybean lures over 55 feet and does about as well with lures up to12G as any of the more expensive BFS reels. It is not perfect. On one of my 2 copies the brake adjustment dial index mark does not line up correctly with the range of dots on the sideplate. (this is the one Charlie has) On both of my reels the spool tension adjustment knob is stiff and overly sensitive. But overall it works well, looks very nice and with about 20 hours of actual fishing use has had zero mechanical problems. I don't need it back untill December, so if Charles, or any trusted, lefty using friend, wants to try it out it is fine with me for Charlie to loan it out for a more extensive review.

Left hand retrieve for life I use both but I prefer left

It's a good reel for 5gms and up, feels good to palm it

No I wouldn't go that far but decent all around bfs maybe starting at 2 or 2.5g but Dark Wolf Ultra is what you want for 1g and higher from AliExpress..
