Personally I feel barbie fashionistas should be called barbie basic/basics. I don't wish for them to be canceled because I love their sculpts,hair textures and diversity. However I think they need a new name because nothing fashion about them.

I'd love to buy more aliexpress clothes, 'cause Mattel doesn't even sell fashion oacks anymore. Sadly, no one seems to care to make more outfits for curvy barbies. 😢 I like the heart outfit on the tall barbie. The cropped jeans really add a little something extra to the look.

To stop Barbies hand’s, from snagging on a garment, put Barbie socks over her hands, slide them through and then grab the tip of the socks and pull them off. Really nice outfit’s, considering where you got them and how much you paid. 🤗. PS don’t use hot glue. You will make a mess of your miniature. Find another glue, that works on plastic or whatever they are made of.

I think Mattel mostly now makes their clothes so it fits on the curvy barbie as well as regular barbie. That and it cuts cost down

This is such a good idea. I like to use ali express for outfits for my second hand rainbow high dolls sometimes 1/6 bjd type. I got the cutest bunny theme outfit for my Victoria. Planning on getting a new outfit for Abbey G3 MH because I wish mattel gave her a white snowy outfit like G1.

I have some of these outfits and they are very nice. Be careful of the darker colors in cotton. They will bleed color onto your doll if left on too long.

I think the Alien shirt says Bemine but the i for some reason has the alien head on it lol Also i love picking up extra clothes from aliexpress but sadly even through the prices are so cheap they really add up now a days with the shipping. The low cost version of the Mattel BTS dolls were sold around $15. They are fully articulated, with unique outfits, rooted hair and unique face molds or screening. So they can do it for Barbie. Would I buy a $15 articulated fashionista… yes but only to rebody because they just keep riding the same exact doll molds.

The Mattel fashions are so basic, and bad, that I'm like, "I can just stitch two pieces of fabric together and be done with it.". That's pretty much how much effort they put into "fashions" these days. Everything just looks like a pillowcase with armholes.

Unfortunately when I went to see the rainbow dress, The price was Australian $8.42 and Australian $7.38 shipping so nearly $16.00 so luckily I can sew and had my own business for a few years so no problem, ( actually the US bought a lot of my vintage repro outfits ) sometimes you can get free shipping just depends on what you buy. I have bought Rainbow high items ( clothes, shoes and spare parts ) with free shipping.

It’s hard I believe Mattel can successfully deliver great quality dolls well designed and executed but it’s like they choose not too cuz ppl will still buy the dolls if the clothes or quality is not good so why not just release sub par dolls at premium prizes and keep them manufacturing prizes super low it’s only more profit for them at the end the day so. It’s greed over respecting the legacy of Barbie
