For me it’s Curtin, but each uni has its strengths so be sure to check their specialisations and choose the one that aligns best with what you want to do.

I don’t think it makes much of a difference. A degree is the minimum requirement many employers want to see. Nowadays I think it’s equally if not more important the stuff you do alongside uni (internships, clubs, work experience, overseas study, languages, volunteering etc) as the degree itself. Certainly those things have more importance to any reasonable company that WHICH uni you went to.

Not sure off the top of my head as biology is a vast field - look up what areas their biology department is researching and it will give you an idea of the priorities of the school. Usually what they research is also a focus in advanced teaching since every uni will teach the basics.

Wow i have to completely disagree with that dudes blanket statement about high school vs uni teachers. Passionate and talented teachers as well as "teachers just doing their job" are around everywhere. I think the difference is, you - when you go to a Uni its more of a commitment and its usually a career or profesional development decision, as opposed to high school when you are also still learning alot about yourself.

I think you’re right Akira. I don’t think it was meant badly but is a reflection of his personal experience. It’s very hard being put on the spot by a videographer (me) and asked a bunch of questions. They were super nice people and I think if you put it to them they’d agree with you.

Accounting degrees will be similar at unis because of accreditation requirements. I’d look carefully at other factors, like internships, leadership, overseas study and the like…

ECU's Engineering and Technology facilities are amongst the best in the country. They have 2 or 3 buildings now at the Joondalup Campus with all completely new equipment and labs.

Unfortunately you’ll find racism everywhere in the world. Education reduces it but there are bigots and racists everywhere 😞 Australia is a highly multicultural society, as are our universities, so you’ll find a very open, welcoming culture in general. Like everywhere, though, there are still bad eggs that you’ll come across from time to time.
