it also has regional campuses, great if you want to experience typical uni life but be able to get amazing support. Whyalla Campus and Mount Gambier Campus. I study social work at the UniSA Whyalla Campus.

@@easymandarinwithjunjie8334 I'd suggest you get on the Australian Government's QILT website: qilt.edu.au - Quality Indicators of Learning and Teaching. You'll be able to find data there on how each university performs. Both are excellent universities, so if I were you I would also consider which city (Melbourne or Adelaide) is likely to offer you the other things you want. For example, Melbourne is a LOT bigger than Adelaide (so it might be easier to find casual work, for example) but it's also more expensive. I would also look at what the universities offer outside of the classroom that might interest you. Monash is a much larger university, so has more clubs and societies, but UniSA has some nice facilities too and is located right in the middle of the Adelaide CBD. I'm not sure what is most important to you, so those are some things to think about.

Education programs are accredited so are similar from uni to uni. UniSA is an excellent institution and I love Adelaide as a small, clean city.

Personally, I'd be looking at UniSA over UoA at this point in time. That's based on a few different things that are a bit long to explain, but right now that would be my choice.

Hi mate - these are both good options. UC has a strong media program, as does Swinburne. Both have good industry linkages. Melbourne and Canberra are VERY different cities though, so I would certainly consider that as part of my decision. It also depends what sort of media/comms you're looking to do. On the journalism side I'd tend towards UC. On design, web and communication sides I'd pick Swinnie.

Psychology is a broad discipline. If you mean clinical psychology, most clinicians have to study a Masters degree in order to get admitted into clinical practice. If it's to go into a related discipline, like HR, counselling etc there are many options for work.

Hi! I'm planning to study a Bachelor of Nursing in Adelaide as an international student. Can you share your insights about whether UniSA or Flinders Uni is more suitable for this degree? Thank you very much for the informative video!

Ahhhh, great question. Two good programs. Nursing is a regulated degree, meaning that each degree has to cover mostly the same thing in order for it to be accredited. It means that the course will be similar at each uni, even though the facilities might vary a bit. Flinders has excellent health-sciences programs. The campus is outside the city (about 30-40 mins on public transport), so the cost is cheaper. The campus is large and open. UniSA is located in the city centre. I think nursing is still taught at City East (from memory - double check that's still the case), in which case you're in the heart of the action but it will possibly more expensive if you choose to live nearby.

Hi mate, that question is a bit too detailed for me - you’d need to check with the uni itself because it is very specific. Overall though that’s a good program - UniSA has strong IT and management programs.

Both excellent choices for social work. Depends not only on the uni teaching imho but also on the other stuff the uni can offer. RMIT has awesome work integrated learning and learning abroad programs. UniSA is a very industry connected uni. Melbourne and Adelaide are very different cities too. Melbourne is huge with everything. Adelaide is smaller but with a cheaper cost of living. Climates are different too. Just a few things for you to think about! 😉

Awesome! Welcome to Australia :) The City West campus is right on the edge of Adelaide's central business district. There are some nice buildings and facilities. It's also close to the river, which is nice. I think you'll like Adelaide!

@@ChoosingYourUni I applied for logistics and supply chain management. UniSA offers only logistics and supply chain management, whereas Curtin offers double major for this course. I've read that UniSA graduates have a high employability rate but I've also read that it is better to double major for SCM. 😅

That’s an excellent choice mate. Both engineering and management are strong disciplines at UniSA. I’m a fan. Check the campus where the course is delivered. Engineering might be at Mawson Lakes, which is a bit out of the city (I’ve done a review on it, see the UniSA playlist). CityWest is where much of the management stuff is housed from memory. It would just be good to know if you need to travel between campuses at all 👍

Thank you for your reply Rob♥️, When I checked the timetable about the course in the Uni website, I came to know that different units of this course is distributed among different campuses of UniSA, as you said, most of the management related courses are offered in the citywest and cityeast campuses and engineering units are taught at Mawson Lakes campus. However, I came to know that majority of the lectures in my course are taught online except for practicals and seminars. (As an Indian student, we have an entirely different curriculum and I'm not aware about the Aussie curriculum...bt I know that strong emphasis is on practicals, assignments and other performances). That really depends on a lot of personal preferences. If I had to choose, I’d go to Perth - the outdoors are awesome, there are lively areas (like Northbridge and Fremantle) and great beaches. But I love Adelaide too - there’s lots of positives to it as a city.

These are both excellent unis in that space. Both the business schools are highly reputable. Adelaide and Sydney (particularly Macquarie Park, where the uni is) are quite different so you might want to look at other things than just which program you want to do: also where to live, work, internship opportunities, etc.

Hiya! Congrats on your offer letter. it's the best feeling in the world I'm a UniSA Student and I sometimes travel there for study instead of going to the city. Mawson Lakes is a huge campus. But it all works together so well. The Sir Eric Neal Library (Building C) is conveniently located across from the "food court" area which comprises of Zambrero's and Frankies DIner. If you drink Coffee, they do great coffee at Frankie's. Campus Central is also located in Building C. There is also a gym on campus When you first start, it will be a bit stressful for the first few weeks trying to find your sea legs and locating where classrooms are. There is an incredible app that I used when I started at City West that helped me locate everything. From classrooms to something as small as where the water fountains are located around campus. The app is called Lost On Campus. I would seriously recommend downloading it. It will be super helpful when you first start. In terms of public transport, there is no shortage whatsoever. Near the library, there is a bus stop that will take you straight to Mawson Interchange (depending on what bus you take, of course). However, if you like the fresh air, the train station is about a 15-20 minute walk from the University. If you have any questions, let me know!

Unfortunately due to COVID-19, it wasn't been possible. In the meantime, I talked to the university international team weather the intake will be delayed! So, they told me to wait until April and then make payment. As well as there is yet no declaration of delaying the July admission. Since the lockdown in Australia is gonna revoke soon. But I concern about my country. Here in my country Bangladesh the virus detection is at an early age. I think the lockdown will remain for a long time. At this moment what I'm thinking that if I get the visa for July and can't fly because of the lockdown in my country how can I start the intake? In this case, will the university cancel my visa or I have to wait for the next intake? I appreciate your worthy opinion. Thank you

Excellent program at UniSA. Mawson Lakes is out of the city (I’ve been there but haven’t done a video on it yet), so it’s be better imo if it were at the City West campus, but cost of accommodation will be cheaper out of the city so there are definitely upsides.

@@D28DSA They are both great unis and strong tourism programs. Monash is a much bigger university with big beautiful campuses and a higher ranking. UniSA is considered a more practical university, so presumably it would have strong industry linkages. The business school (that tourism is taught out of) is very strong. Melbourne and Adelaide are very different cities - Melbourne is very big. Adelaide is about 1.5 million people, so much more accessible and relaxed.

If you’re asking for my personal opinion I’d say Flinders for Med Sci. The program is great. The caveat I’d put on that is if there is a specific sub-discipline that you’re really interested in where UniSA has a specialty. Eg they have some amazing cancer research stuff so if you’re super interested in that then Unisa might make more sense. The UniSA health “campus” (City East) is only really a couple of buildings. The on campus experience for that discipline would be better at Flinders where everything is in one place. Also depends where you live - a plus of UniSA is it’s in the CBD, so better for casual jobs and night life. ...actually, wait on... is there a night life in Adelaide? (😁)

Yes it is. Uni SA (University of South Australia). The Uni SA east campus is next to Adelaide Uni (University of Adelaide). I've seen students from Uni SA get lost, and find themselves walking on Adelaide Uni campus.

This is true! UniSA also has some campuses outside the CBD of Adelaide, but they’re relatively easy to access by bus or train.

I studies education at UNi SA at the old Underdale campus before it was closed. It must have been around the year 2000. I would not advise anyone to study with this organization. They were completely oblivious of you after they received your payment.

Both these universities have good communications programs. Both are also universities that have evolved a LOT in the past 10 years - they are dynamic and innovative.
