Ali, mice hate the smell of mint, peppermint, spearmint. So it may help to grow a big pot of mint in the greenhouse. Here in the States, you can purchase mice sachet bags that smell like peppermint and you can place them strategically around your home. I love a good tidy up!

Windy, rainy here in NW Pennsylvania on the shores of Lake Erie. Trying to get my house decluttering and cleaned so I can get outside and get my gardens both veggies and flowers ready for summer I have over 70 David Austin, English roses, then swimming time and patio time in our pool. I always figure by the time we get to Mar not much left of winter, we normally have over 100 inches of snow and we’ve only had 15 inches

Great idea of the sand in the brick, I’ll use that in my patio. Here in California we take lemon tree growing to an art form. If I can suggest some things that those of us that have great success implement. Mix in CITRUS MIX 6-3-3. Do this twice a year. Try and water frequently. But careful not to overwater, or the fruit will simply drop off the tree. Lemon trees need a lot of moisture if you can mist the tree first thing I the morning, the tree will love the moisture. Also wHen first planting, don’t allow flowers to go past opening up. Pick off the flower before it turns to lemon pod. Do this for the first 3 years. This allows the root system to become stronger. giving off tastier fruit.., if a lemon tree is allowed to produce fruit before this three year period, you will likely end up with a tree that does not produce as much fruit in the end and the tree itself will have a growth stunt. Once you see the flower start to bloom, pick off. In the mean time all is not lost. I pick off the leaves, slice up the leaves, to open the pores, and it makes THEE most amazing lemon tea you have ever had. You can use a bottle mister or a hose mister

What a nice video. Il love how Lumi got so excited going into the greenhouse and your chicken are looking healthy and well cared for. It;s nice you let them out to forage. They give better tasting eggs if you do and they love scraps from the garden, once it's full and running. They'll thank you for it.

Yet another incredibly relaxing episode, and a nice accompaniment to the sound of the inclement weather. Thank you , mate.

Ali, the greenhouse looks beautiful after your tidy up and get that pesky mouse. Is spring a little early in your part of the world 🌎. The winter and weather here in North Central Minnesota has been very mild and dry so far, and I am expecting an early spring. That could be either good or bad. When you were putting the hive roof together with the screws do they get loose and wobbly over time? I have heard of people using a dab of wood glue on wooden furniture when assembling it to combat any future wobbles. You are a worker and a wonder!!!!!
