I was born with congenital mitral stenosis, and had to have my mechanical valve replaced twice as I grew up, definitely quite traumatizing, yes, but really interesting to see everything now:)

I just had an echo and I have thickened mitral valve leaflets. I guess that’s mitral valve stenosis. I have had palpitations my whole life but that’s my only symptom.
