Three favorite dishes of pork tongues! Cooking in the mountains

Do you like pork tongue dishes? If not, then you haven't tried the dishes I cook in this video. Tongue kebab, boiled tongues in garlic sauce, pickled spicy tongues with cilantro - all this is very tasty!
Pork tongue kebab marinade:
- boiled pork tongues (1 hour)
- mustard
- honey
- soy sauce
- chili pepper
- black pepper
- ground ginger
- mayonnaise
- salt
- mandarin juice
- sugar
Boiled tongue under garlic sauce:
- boiled pork tongue (2 hours)
- mayonnaise and sour cream (or yogurt) in 1:1 proportions
- salt
- black pepper
- garlic
- parsley
Spicy marinated pork tongue:
- boiled pork tongue (2 hours)
- cilantro
- fresh chili pepper
- garlic
- oil
- lemon peel
- lemon juice
- salt
- a little sugar

Italian dipping oil: French baguette toasted in the oven with the oil on one side. Mix spinach,arugula & roasted red peppers chopped in a pot with the same oil be generous, with the warm toasted bread out of the oven put cream cheese on top,,, and the spinach/arugula red peppers go on top. May need a pinch of salt on top.

Ozory, czyste mięso i świetny pomysł te potrawy :). Alina czy Ty też realizujesz swoje pomysły kulinarne? Bo na pewno też inspirujesz się czy odtwarzasz regionalne smaki... ja na przykładzie filmu z barszczem ukraińskim. To tradycyjna słynna potrawa - swoją drogą muszę kiedyś taki zrobić - pewnie mi nie wyjdzie taki jak Tobie, ale gotować lubię więc podejmę wyzwanie:). Kiedyś z ugotowanych i posiekanych w drobną kosteczkę ozorów, wymieszanych z ryżem - robiłem farsz do gołąbków - polecam:) POZDRAWIAM SERDECZNIE ps. wypasione te Twoje kociaki:), a Karpaty - piękne widoki...

Pork tongues? Must be a throwback from when times were a lot harder. My guess is it’s from the old days of serfdom where the lords or masters got the best cuts and the serfs had only what the lords or masters didn’t want. That is how todays soul food came about in the United States from the days of slavery. Personally I don’t eat pork because of its high cholesterol. In general, older people should stick to foul and fish. Even my breakfast sausage is chicken sausage. But, I imagine that people like this beautiful young woman living in the mountains work hard enough to burn off the fat and cholesterol. If you’re an aging I.T. developer in the United States like me it’s a big no no.

You are a little mistaken, in medieval Europe tongues were the food of lords and nobles. At royal banquets, it was a mandatory dish and a sign of wealth, imagine how many cows or pigs had to be killed to treat a dozen guests.
