DJI are indeed going to have to seriously up their game for the Mini 3. people will now expect front and rear sensors as standard and they will need a waypoint system that will match the Hubsan.

Interesting that they added a calibration tool for the obstacle avoidance. But I'm glad they did, it really improved the performance of this feature. Thanks for great demo of how to calibrate. Exactly why would anyone buy anything else on the market. Especially since DJI is going to get banned soon. I just ordered a HZMP from the US dealer and now I see some of the bundles are out of stock. There must be a mad dash to buy these up. I also bought from the only company that makes ND filters for this drone on Aliexpress and Banggood. Which people need to know that drones that have a fixed aperture will need ND filters. Also to fix shakiness or jello because of large sensor. With the current economy, the port situation and new rules for drones, there will be limited stock of everything. So buy now!!!

That's a great demonstration but as mentioned before why has hubsan not calibrated the sensors already ? What you did to calibrate them on the pc was quite long winded for a person that cannot use a pc. But I guess it worked a treat for you.. have you manged to do any range type test yet to see video transmission relay 🤜🤛

i believe sensors are calibrated in the factory. its a standard procedure for all such drones. but just like compass calibration, or iMU, gimbal gyro calibration, its best we also do Vision position calibration for better results. range test later coming

Fantastic video again. Really enjoying these. Could you possibly go through any quickshot modes that are available and show the footage and also the waypoints which you briefly showed in your first video. Just being able to draw on the map looks very good but I'd love to see that in more depth.

Camera image sensor quality is very good. you can watch my video and more coming. build quality, you can't tell difference between dji or this. i have seen dji mini and to be honest it looked like toy drone quality LOL. i like my mavic air 2, build quality and material is awesome. but dji mini i honestly did not like. Hubsan ZMP at least stays in my liking when it comes to build quality and material used

As usual, great job! Facts, not only words... Very impressive!!! Just a question about WAYPOINT flight mode. If I don't go wrong it's already working, correct? Did you give it a try or are you planning to do it? Fimi X8 SE 2020 (and also Mini) supports waypoint flight and point of interest but with some limitations: it flies only stright routes from one waypoint to the next, stopping for a couple of seconds at every waypoint (quite annoying), you can't set the height of the points of interest... With DJI (hi-end models) it's possible to set "arc" routes from waypoints so to get a smoother, continuous flight and video. It would be nice to know that Hubsan did a good job even with with this...

recently in China, due to covid19 is a big shortage of material, ICs and electronics Chips. suppliers have raised prices. and hubsan wants to make sure drones have no issues. that is why delays.

@@xhappy425 I do professional high end commercials and basically I would pick this drone over top of the line DJI drones for one simple thing the H265 Code at 200Mbps capabilities. This is my opinion working in the media industry for over 30years doing work for film, tv and high end-video interactive applications. But again, this is my opinion after seeing the video compression. He for sure can give you all the answers you need, he is great at it.

No overheating issues. even flying in hot sunny days. I have not seen anyone (who got their Zino Mini Pro) complaining about anything. IQ is the only complaining about issues. and then pops out dji video. I wonder what happened. maybe he likes dji more, and does not like Zino mini pro. maybe he got a lemon. everyone has their own ideas and choice.

@@crack7596 if you don't know, here is a great tip... I do professional work and 64G is plenty for many projects. The key is not to press the record button. Only record what you need to avoid filling up hard drive with footages you never going to use. when filming thing as an editor and when editing think as a videographer and you will NEVER waist time from filling the drove hard drive, waist battery, files will have less problems, when you edit you open the storyboard and in one click your edit is done. With feel trims you are ready to render. And yes, never film anything over 16 seconds long and when you trim the footage only use from 1 to 6 seconds max. Tell a story in every scene with a minimum of 3 clips in witch each clips the raw file is 16 seconds long so you can use from 1-6 seconds. Doing this you have fun, battery will last a long long time and the outcomes will always come or looking professional. Always think before pressing the record button.. "is this view good enough to tell a story with 2 more shots? if not... keep flying until something comes out that is worth of the press.

low light conditions, OA does not work too good, so don't try it. but after manually calibrating, (see my video on this) during day time there is a huge difference in OA performance.

drone does firmware updates all by itself. so whenever it asked, i just followed the prompts. for now I do not know if hubsan has any software for mac. I will check with them today

If I'm not mistaken, the drone doesn't even have LEDs on the arms as dji but maybe this is not mandatory.

Nice video but you're lucky man if you don't get some USB deconnected...Here is for me...! Jenny, more problems in flight ... and not the least ..! About 15 minutes ago, I made a hover at about 3 m (night flight) lamp under the belly of the drone lit up ... the hover happened normally then climbed to about 7 m .. normal stationary ... then at after about 5 minutes .... NO more flight controls and there I hear .......... USB disconnection .... my drone then drifts to the right, passes near a tree , then go up to the height of the "return home" .... the beep was triggered about 30 seconds later than the triggering of the "home return" .... hence my concern ... I could no longer see only the belly LED ... and finally he came down and landed .... Luckily, he came back to the take-off point ... Can I explain my stress to you or do you understand ??? Well, the Logs of this flight, I looked at them .... title .... quoted unknown ??? 12/20/2021 for 17.57.23 distance 0.0m flight time: 06.59 minute Maximun height: 23.5m ALWAYS no recorded flight distance ...! Longest mileage .... NOTHING .. !! Explain to me why the height is 23.5m WHILE THE ADJUSTMENT OF MY "home return" is calibrated to ... 30m high .. ??? Explain to me why I find 6 messages in "Software anomalies" ??? how to send them to you, by clicking on "tell us" ?? because I have already done this for other messages and I have had NO feedback from your engineers .... !! So your Zino is a big SCAM ... to go in flight with so many possibilities of losing it, of hurting someone by its fall and of not being able to concentrate on the shots is INTOLERABLE ....... ... When will you understand that customers with such problems are pushing to explain via social networks ESPECIALLY NOT TO BUY THIS DRONE ... when will you understand that it is easier to have customers happy to fly with this bundle of tech when it works properly .... Even the latest 3.1.7 updates have not improved anything in my case ................. .When will you understand that my drone does not work correctly and that since it left the box ........! I am neither a liar nor a beginner, what about your engineers ??? Stop sending me to your Italian center at my expense, this is not the solution to eradicate this problem of loss of USB connection which causes so many problems for many pilots .... Hi Alishanmao, thanks a lot for this test and video! I am thinking about upgrade of my old mavic pro and I looking for some small bird like this zino mini. But my wish is that new drone can safely provide "follow me" or visual "track me" mode in area with obstacles. Old mavic pro has obstacle avoidance sensors in the front but they practically doesnt work in forests or with not-large obstacles. well so far zino mini pro can only stop after detecting obstacle. will not bypass or avoid and keep flying. that feature might come later. so for now, you can not do with ZMP what you can do with Mavic Air 2
