Thanks for the reminder of them I can easily do them all day if I want since I now drive for a living but I still love to sing. I would like to have the range that I use to have back when I was in choir though... Anyways thanks for sharing this with us. Have fun take care

Yawning is not a good exercise unless you really know what you're doing. Our natural inclination is to retract the tongue when yawning, and letting this tongue retraction creep into normal phonation is NOT good if you value freedom and clarity in your voice. Singers bewear.
@bharp43902 жыл бұрын
@@creamwobbly I said it is our natural inclination, meaning it is what most people tend to do by default. There are ways to yawn without retracting the tongue so much, but it usually takes a special amount of muscle independence to be able to do. The yawn can be a helpful tool to get students to feel the soft palatte rise, but it must be done with caution.

@@tomow An incident happened where the band allowed a photo to be used for a clothing company, but without the photographer permission. He contacted the clothing company about at least pay the licensing fee to a charity of his choice. Then Arch Enemy's response was to harass him and ban him from future shows. Oh, and the whole you should be happy to be paid in exposure was used in their response.
@SpartacusColo2 жыл бұрын
@@TheMetalDahlia The photographer went after the clothing designer/maker, who had been given the photo by AE, or maybe just by Alissa, and basically started in with a demand for money instead of trying to start at a lower level of trying to address the issue. It sounded like there was no formal agreement made with the guy in the first place, which doesn't help things. While AE (Angela) came down harder than they probably should have, also not trying to address the issue at a lower level, it didn't help that the photographer just took it to Mach 1 publicly. Everyone's egos seem to have gotten in the way of just trying to handle it quietly.
@TheMetalDahlia2 жыл бұрын
@@SpartacusColo Honestly they didn't handle the situation well considering that they're artist themselves and should know how shitty it is to have your work stolen with no credit. Plus it wasn't the first time that they have done this look at Anouk Timmerman case in 2009/2010.

@@CaptainDugog first it doesn't matter if it's Max or someone else it's just an example, second he gave us decades of relentless vocal savagery, let's see how this chick sing at his age. Third, all these vocal tricks do protect vocal cords, but the end result is shit. Real scream >>>>> fake scream, which is what most vocalists tend to use these days cause it's way easier on their throats which is understandable i guess but i hate it most of the time.
