Just coming back to let you that after 3 days I can see an increase in traffic. Very excited to see how it goes Can you tell me if it helps the shop if you upload regually like KZbin? Or if you have a video about it I would love to watch it.
@AlissaRose3 жыл бұрын
That is awesome! It's not about the amount of listings, it's about how it's ranking (aka how well it's selling compared to your competition). This video explains this more in detail - kzbin.info/www/bejne/eWqyqX53rc5qock and then basically, the most listings you have that perform well, the more you will get found.

Thank you so much for this information! It is great!!Question, I thought Etsy rules said we are not allowed to ask for a review from people like that.... Hmm Have you ever heard of that? Maybe it changed? Or I got false info? Whats your take?
@AlissaRose3 жыл бұрын
Hey Michelle, I pulled this DIRECTLY from one of Etsy's help pages, under the section "Don't communicate" regarding do's and don'ts of communicating with customers ..."don’t... demand feedback. Take care when asking for feedback. Remember that leaving feedback on Etsy for a transaction is optional. If you do ask for feedback, be friendly and polite."

Wonderful video! Just a question about tip #2 - Etsy says that you don't need to repeat keywords in your title, description or tags ...so doesn't tip#2 contradict that? Thanks!
@AlissaRose3 жыл бұрын
They say "categories and attributes you add act like tags, so if an exact phrase appears in your categories, you don’t need to add it as a tag". Not that you shouldn't repeat keywords that are in your titles in your tags. This helps relevancy, so you might be misinformed. Hope that helps.

How do you give them a free bonus, lets say if you sell printables that they download...would you add it down at the bottom as another file along with the product file?

Exactly! I have a PDF that they download that links to all the templates and I add the bonus in that PDF. That’s another option.

You need at least 100 visits on ONE listing in order to tell if it's your product or that you need more data.
@drkentlyons3 жыл бұрын
Your google ranking is not because of your SEO, it's because google has personalized the results for you. Open an incognito window and do the same search - you'll get different results. Or even better, ask a friend that has never been to your shop to do the search - they will also get different results.

Make an Udemy course or transfer your current one there for big sales!
@AlissaRose3 жыл бұрын
I'm not interested in selling my course for 90% off. Udemy's selling proposition is based on price slashing... "look how cheap you can get this course!". That doesn't align with my brand values. Plus, there are many other reasons why I won't put my courses on Udemy which I won't get into.
