+Dharma Hawthorne It is really sad, and it shows how much Morrigan regrets leaving the Hero in the first game, showing that she has grown both as a character and as a person. In my game, I had them as a couple, and living with each other to raise their child, but the Hero in my game is searching for a way to cure the curse in the Grey Wardens, probably for a number of reasons. Like the Hero only has about 20 years, at most, left to live, and his son, maybe even Morrigan, could also carry the taint within them (which could be one reason why the Wardens don't allow a person to have a family. I do like how you can have your Warden basically go 'fuck you!' to that rule and have one anyway). And we know it's somehow possible to remove the taint, so he probably won't stop looking until he finds a way. Hey, if he can do all the stuff in Origins, he can find the cure!

idk man, not so much. When Alistair appeared as king, he was this dark, gritty man who almost doesn't recognize his own mother. Morrigan Lelianna Alistair all became dark, and somewhat sad who only shows shades of their former selves(DA:Origins self, if you will LOL).

I'm sure consuming the well of sorrows will have drastic consequences. I've already made my peace that my Inquisitor will make the sacrifice so Morrigan and my son can live somewhat safely. Although I'm sure the dark ritual is going to be pivotal at some point. Harming Morrigan or Kieran, I think, would make the Warden face Solas himself (I hope that's an option).

She grew of her same self, she "changed" but Morrigan was never thaaat mean, she only knew her mother and when she had the chance of living her life she grew and realized a lot of things. But of course motherhood made her grow even faster.

But if you look closely to her romance in DAO, you will find out, that there was already some foreshadowing of her change. But of course - she became a fully grown mama-bear in DAI. I'd suggest that Solas and Flemeth keep away from her son OR (especially) from her Warden.

This. Alistair is 20 in Origins, Morrigan is 18-19 based on what the devs have said. Makes sense that the childish bickering wouldn't still be there 10 years later, regardless of how entertaining it was. The original Alistair/Morrigan/Leliana party is still my favourite.

Aren Mek They stated that the resurrected warden is not Cannon. They only put the option there for players who wanted to play the same character for the dlc, but for save importing purposes, an orlesian warden is the one involved in the events of amarantine.

It’s tough for me honestly, inquisition feels so so much better mechanically and environmentally, yet it doesn’t capture the grandeur from the first one and the characters are more shallow (there are exceptions tho) honestly Id pick origins just bc of how it made me feel but if inquisition had just a LIL BIT better storytelling it would be neigh perfect

@@mazariamonti if you romance Morrigan and have sex with her in the tent. Then she becomes pregnant. Later when she proposes the dark ritual. You must refuse. Then Morrigan will be pregnant with a normal Kieran since he was not conceived during the Dark Ritual. There are some videos on KZbin about Normal Kieran interacting with the Inquisitor.

too much of a jump between Origins and Inquisition with graphics and textures etc. It would b IMPOSSIBLE to get ur character to look like they did in Origins and the voice actors for the races might not all b available as the Experienced voice type for humans is impossible to have now after Origins as Robin Sachs has died.

Aren Mek Original BioWare Warden cannon is the Martyr ending and the Warden was dailish, I know that. The thing is that the kid opened up new story lines and a lot of people clamored to see him having a role or something. Instead you get that gullible kid that talks like he has downs and sort of punched a hole in a lot of people's expectations. Past decisions made by your characters add more substance to the story and world than simply jumping in some pre-made story where you have no idea where to start or what to expect

I like to think Morrigan's "dislike" for Alistair was all just her way of being playful and she never really hated any of the party members, it was just a game to her to rile them up for laughs, like the hilarious conversations she has with Sten and pretending to fall in love with him until he messes with her back lol

There is an option, if the Warden romanced Morrigan, where he can refuse to perform the ritual because Morrigan says she will leave afterwards. Morrigan falls pregnant with the Warden's son, but not as a result of the ritual.

You can choose to perform the ritual, and then at the final battle leave Morrigan at the gate instead of taking her with you to slay the Archdemon. She did show some distraught, but will still obey your decision.

In DAO i romanced Morrigan, didn't the dark ritual and died at the end. But, i don't know... killing the archdemon could be not the end. So far as we know, the old gods of Tevinter could be very old (and powerful) spirits jealous of the living and angry with the Maker. I imagine if the warden, after dying in DAO, isn't in the Black City chained in front of the throne with a archdemon essence on his soul... with the others four wardens that have killed an archdemon. I know it's an awful idea lol that is my despair to be the warden again

william ramos don't worry maybe bio ware will make a dlc for the next game were you recreate your warden and basically adjust them to the new game style so that they can be the game after that. Or who knows maybe they'll just put them in dragon age 4.

That would not work as Kieran does not exist in all world states (and not in Inquisitions standard world state, where the hero of ferelden killed the aarchdemon). Sadly.

Honestly, I found myself surprisingly liking Morrigan alot more in DA:I than I did in DA:O. In DA:O, I found Morrigan to be incredibly snarky, rude, and selfish, and grew to hate her vehemently. But in Inquisition, she's shown more as a person who just wants to avoid doing the same mistakes to her son that were done to her by her mother. She wants to give her son the best possible future he can have, away from all of the infamy surrounding his mother. I grew to respect her alot more in DA:I. Well done, BioWare.

I tend to like the tough characters that hide themselves before becoming themselves. In Origins it was chipping away the shell of Morrigan, in DA2 Hawke managed to show Isabela that love does not suck, and in Inquisition Cassandra shows you that she is a big softy who OCCASIONALLY likes to stab books.

I like the first one, because it really exempts the friendship Moriggan and Alistair had. Yes they were at each other’s throats but they fought together and went through hell together and through Morrigans “you deserved that much” and Alistair’s soft chuckle you can really feel the utter respect they have for each other....it’s nice seeing each other after all those years

The way they talk about the Warden and miss her/him if she/he isn't present or if she/he died is so heartbreaking. To me it makes the most sense, thematically, for the HoF to perform the ultimate sacrifice but personally I find it difficult to subject Alistair and Morrigan to such pain, especially if they romanced the HoF.

I’m kinda curious on how King!Alistair would react to OldGod!Kieran. I know Morrigan said she would not use him to gain power/the throne, but odds are he is King!Alistair’s only hope for an heir: 1) The taint already severely dimishes the chance of him getting ANYONE pregnant. Aurora is barren, so there will be no kids if he’s married to her. If married to the Warden, there’s an even lower percentage as BOTH have the taint. 2) He is likely going to die from the Calling soon, so he needs to act fast.

The acting for the Warden being dead is so well done. Just a couple lines, but the actors sell it so well how big of a mark the Warden left on them and how much they're hurt from his death. Why Bioware won't ever bring back the Hero of Ferelden, I'll never understand.

@@d.pedroii2940 Here's the part I dont understand. There was a prime place to bring HoF in at Adamant, and they didn't take it. Now, Wardens are almost all gone to Weisshaupt, they seem to battling internally for change in the Order, and chances to see HoF again considerably dropped after that. Hawke was brought in at the best moment, since he/she woke Corphy up, but Warden should've been at adamant. Now the only other explanation I have for this is in DA4, they are gonna go far west, to Tevinter and Anderfels. During that, chances are, we are gonna go to Weisshaupt, and fully see the ramifications of this "war within the Order." That's gonna be a place to showcase Thom Rainier, Loghain/Alistair/Stroud (if alive) and HoF all in one place, especially true if HoF is alive and found a cure for the Calling, effectively changing the whole mentality of the Order. The amount of times a future Warden centric content was lampshaded in Inquisition was astronomical, so I am hoping they kept HoF in reserve just for the most epic cameo of all time. P.S.: Dragons were thought to be extinct before Dragon Age itself, and they showed back up again. Who wants to bet that at DA4, HoF comes in riding on a griffon?

Apparently the reason being that there's not really any specific traits or quirks they can easily pick from DA:O to apply to a Warden in the later games. Unlike Hawke, who was very limited with dialogue options, the Warden has such a vast and wide array role-playing choices. Ultimately, however, that means it becomes very difficult to implement a character with such variety into a single entity that the majority of the playerbase would be able to agree on. I'm sure if they put in the same amount of work they put into DA:O into creating various amounts of appearances and attitudes for a future Warden, they'd be able to succeed. But that's a lot of work for a single character, especially with the amount of choices we make in DA:O, and we all know Bioware is never gonna live up to the amount of work they did back in Origins.

No. Old God Kieran only happens if the Warden agrees to go on with the ritual. If a male Warden was romancing Morrigan then he's simply the Warden's son, a normal child.
