Alita watched helplessly as Seth was infected. Seth risked everything, by this one act of heroism. And now… they both suffer… She saw him in pain. She saw him turn, right in front of her. She now looks at Seth through a layer of ice in front of him, as the town is evacuated. Wondering if Seth is still in there somewhere. Trapped inside his own body, reaching for Alita to help him. She’s pained by such thoughts and is probably racked by guilt, feeling Seth’s condition is her fault. That she should have been the one to take the fall. She has more to lose then anyone with Seth’s condition. A close friend. A partner. A person she can always talk to. Tears swell up inside, as she wonders, if there is any hope to save something so precious to her. But perhaps… Perhaps there is hope still… And she may find it in an unlikely source. An Umbreon named Kyle, who I’m sure she’ll know very soon… Can’t wait to hear this tomorrow.

Reminds me slightly of Okami. The instrumentals in particular. Cherry blossoms were also a large part in that game. Sounds great! Can't wait to see where this'll go in the story and where the story will go!

This was a special area to her, but her feelings go to her friend, now facing assimilation. Now facing an end…” (Narrator) “Seth…” (Alita) Tears begin to swell in her eyes. She remembers that moment, where the unthinkable happened. She remembers every detail. Every moment. Every painful feeling brought up in less then a minute.” (Narrator) “Seth you stupid… Why? Why did you jump for me… It should… It should have been me. Not you… (Alita) “As she walks, she notices a flower on the ground. She stops to take a look at it, and remembers a fond memory. A memory of Seth. (Narrator) “This flower… It’s… a gracedia… Seth… He was the one who… gave me my first one. He let me to know it’s secret for the first time.” (Alita) She reaches into her bag, and pulls out another gracedia. Her first one, given to her by Seth.” (Narrator) “He… told me the legend of the pokemon. A pokemon who’s power comes from the gratitude. When this pokemon is given gratitude, it… erupts the field around it in a beautiful an lush field of flowers… Flowers with the best scents and more beauty then anything in the world. And the gracedia… Is the key to unlocking that power…” (Alita) “She remembers when they were younger discussing it. Hearing this tale excited her. And it made her want to meet this legend. And Seth… He promised her… One day, they’d find this pokemon together, and see this amazing power for themselves…” (Narrator) “Seth… You promised me we’d find Shaymin. That we’d see the lush field of flowers together. We’d find the meadow where It hide. A place known as Sky Peaks, hidden somewhere in the world. And our gratitude to it an each other would bring out its power and this flower. A flower you gave me so long ago… (Alita) “Tears began to form again. As she looks back at the flower. She thinks for a moment. She then leans down and plucks the new gracedia from the ground and looks at it. “Seth. I promise here. I’ll find a way to bring you back. I’ll stop at nothing to do so. I’ll search all corners of the world if I have to if it means finding a cure. I’ll suffer pain unlike anything if it means being able to talk to you again. And when this is all said and done, this flower…” (Alita) “She places both the gracedia s in her bag and looks forward, as cherry blossoms continue to fall around her.” “This flower is for you. I’ve always been grateful for you Seth. With these gracedias and our gratitude for each, we’ll finally see Shaymin.” (Alita) She begins to walk forward again, when she hears someone coming from behind her. She quickly turns around, and sees Torke rushing towards her.” (Narrator) “Torke? Is something going on?” (Alita) “Torke stops in front of her panting a bit. He quickly composed himself and looks at her, making eye contact.” (Narrator) “Alita. We need your help escorting someone. A HVP.” (Torke) “A high value prisoner? Did something happen during the evacuation?” (Alita) “No Alita. It’s complicated… I’ll tell you on the way back. Glacie… We believe we found someone who might be able to help Seth.” (Torke) “Alita’s eyes shot up as she looked shocked at this new revelation!” (Narrator) “What!? Who!?” (Alita) “It’s an Umbreon named Kyle. He was… attacked and injured by an assimilated like Seth. But… He’s seems to not be suffering effects of assimilation. Glacie needs to take him to another town. He believes someone there can look more into this. Kyle himself… Well… His story is REALLY complicated. He’s refusing to cooperate, so we’ll have to take him there by force.” (Torke) Alita looks back towards the meadow one last time, and then back at Torke, with a stern look on her face. Ready to take on a mission that might change everything.” (Narrator) “Alright Torke. Take me to the prisoner!” (Alita) “Right. Come with me. I’ll explain more about Kyle on the way. Come on!” (Torke) “The two of them nodded and began rushing back to pleada rescue team station with one last thought going through her mind.” (Narrator) “Whoever this Kyle is… If he really has a way to save Seth… I won’t let him get away… Hang on a bit Seth… We’ll be able to be together again soon. "The Geranium flower symbolizes happiness, good health, good wishes and friendship" A type of flower very fitting for one of the most kind and sweet characters of this storyline, one that values friendship over anything. Even though we haven't seen a lot about Alita, you can easily tell how exactly she feels after seeing a very important friend of hers became infected by a type of "disease" people cannot comprehend at the moment. Feelings of confusion and despair spiral in her head, as she tries to maintain composure, but deep down she struggles to accept the fact that his true friend and partner is on the verge of losing either its life or identity. An interesting allegory of any person who has lost or is on the verge of losing someone dear to them. Either from a disease, a comatose state, and especially the natural occurrence of death, especially on the circumstances that became so sudden and out of their control, where they have trouble processing how they can continue on. Especially on these recent years that people have lost their dearly beloved beyond their control and especially when the world was or is still hurting. I'm personally not sure how this story will play its themes or even what themes does it want to tackle but it's clear to me that this storyline is a character driven plotline, as we see the perspectives of these characters and how they are trying to comprehend and tackle this broken world that surrrounds them. Alita so far has been a great character, not just in terms of voice over, but also in character writing as it has open a great potential of eventualities of how she will grow moving forward in the story. Anyway, back to music topic. Great work on the instrumention Deppy. In my perspective it delivers great emotions of kindness and melancholy. I've been enjoying a lot of your character specific themes, my favorite so far being Glacie's (but to be fair, that's because it reminds me of a Xenoblade song, but I digress) To Deppy and everyone in the UMG crew. Rest assured, you're all doing a fantastic job on this passion filled project and I want to see you all being proud of everything you all worked on. It can only go up from here. Cheers UMG!

Wait how far away from home are they in the scene were the decidueye( i forgot his name) starts flying very fast ( and is very well animated) in chapter 2 there are no cherry blossom trees so where are they? I don't Believe Seth is really dead he's partially infected but he's not dead dead yet the pidgeot had purple eyes because it was already dead from volume 2 of chapter 1 but seth still had his pink eyes despite he was infected, So there's a chance that he be saved because my theory is that Kyle's blood might be the cure to all the assmilated pokemon that aren't dead yet and maybe that's why the gengar and the tentacool tried to kill kyle before realizing he is the one who can save the pokemon world because he wasn't effected when the gengar attacked him and he was just fine when he woke up too so maybe if they go ask the other gods for assistance then they could form some type of cure then use that on seth and the other assmilated pokemon they meet on the way and form a big team to defeat the evil pokemon leader. And if that doesn't Kyle and his new friends need to ask the gods for wisdom and power and knowledge of how to defeat the evil pokemon, And I know the journey won't be easy for Alita cause it's not easy to lose someone who was close to you even if they tease and make fun of stuff most the time especially serious stuff but at the end of the day they are still your friends and family and loyal to the end though no matter what. But I'm sure they will find a way to cure Seth if gengar doesn't get to seth first of breaking the ice wall glacie made and hopefully no more sacrifices and sad death's it's really a nice pokemon animation to watch to see what happens next and Alita shouldn't blame herself at all, The power of the assmilated power was very unpredictable and nobody at all knew about it but only Glacie. It's not her fault at all anyone who blames her for not protecting Seth enough is wrong she tried her very best to save Seth too but she was just overwhelmed by the fast speed of the dead assmilated pidgeot that was heading towards her Oliver, Torke, and Glacie were still dizzy and knocked down and it had to become a point were Seth had to save her it was either him or Alita being infected Seth would had be in the same position and would be upset and can't stand it if Alita was infected and refuse to leave her behind in the icy wall, They both has a very strong bond between each other and I can understand that and appreciate how they care about each other even if it's not shown psychically right now or at first, We all just need to have faith that Seth is alright he is a tough zangoose after all I'm sure he will pull threw even if it's just a little faith that's all need even if he his dead he was a valiant hero loyal to the end and his sacrifice won't be in vain once Kyle and his friends save the world and honor his wish of taking down the gengar for him. I also can't wait for Chapter 3 soon! Edit: Just realized all Zangooses not the shiny one's have pink eyes not red that's what it said in the biology of Zangoose my bad lol XD.
