Interesting to see the hyper-aggressive approach to this campaign. I've found he's perfect for playing in the traditional Total War style, with a huge, powerful frontline (Spearmen early, then Silverin Guard who can hold against literally anything), because the Hand of the Shadow Crown can assassinate the only threat that exists to such an army: invincible, power creep induced legendary lords like Valkya. Add to that the Shadow Realm stance to avoid all attrition at any time (along with the commandment that blocks attrition), and you can actually play on Very Hard to get both achievements while playing in the most traditional Total War style possible, with structured battle lines and just a few Shadow Warriors or Shadow-walkers per army as that critical surgical tool to use from far on the flanks. You end up literally pushing your enemy out of southern Naggaroth (they attack you, break against your spear wall, you chase and destroy them, repeat), then Shadow Realm teleporting across the water and expanding into Naggarond, all thanks to silver-shielded High Elf frontline units being so potent now that Charge Reflection exists and AI archers actually stay at range and waste ammo against silver shields like they're supposed to. Total Warhammer III patches and AI fixes have been extremely beneficial to High Elves. And the best part is that the coastal provincial capitals with just the first tier garrison building become impregnable fortresses with a ridiculous number of archers and Lothern Sea Guard, plus the occasional Unusual Location unit in the garrison that has actually helped me win some truly enjoyable defensive siege battles without any cheese, ever since that recent patch made it so that AI ranged units actually stay at range -- I even had AI artillery demolish sections of my walls after I moved my archers off the ramparts, which I had never seen happen before.

My only problem with Valkia is that she is a small entity, even though she's considered a flying monster so it is super hard to shoot her down with shadow warriors. Usually in my Malekith campaigns, I recruit a bunch of masters and just take her down in melee

​@@TheMMOCafe she is just regular lord with some advatages one of them you mentioned. Her potential is far from Best lords in a game or from some power creep. That dude possibly raging always something breaks through his "traditional line gameplay, which are plenty longer you play.

It's interesting to see, but I think bro is lost in the sauce of exploiting diplo. He is set up to actually play the game from Ulthuan if that's what he wants, but his home province is about to get rolled by Malekith, and Cylostra is also out to grab a piece in a few turns. She doesn't break non-aggression until she plans to war dec. This doesn't even look like a winning start. Made a lot of enemies just to end up allied to high elves, who would've loved him anyway just for fighting dark elf factions.

Well I would have fought Malekith there at the end and defeated him: I took the AR loss to talk about some things in research. But really what else? Alith goes defeats N'kari, then turns around and smashes Morathi before pushing north and conquering everything to Naggarond while they are fighting each other.

​@@Costin_Gaming you do you. Each of us enjoy a game other way. Do you enjoy yours when exploiting most obvious exploit currently in a game? Having money and creating situations you would never create by any means without it? Just asking. Wouldnt ask this if this werent catched for a money. Nothing personal, I havent seen a single serious gameplay video or footage recently. I do enjoy your ranking vids thought eventhou i hardly dissagree with some hard orthodox stances you hold againts some debatable races.
