If we talk about lords climate, lets just Tell once for all to CA that they should do a simple thing, after confederation we gain suitable climates traits, for example thorek has jungle as green, and after confederation with Thorek we get jungle green as Malakai.

Costin, bro use the save character feature to hire four administrator lords/ heroes and as many heroes with fecund trait as you can have. your growth explodes, you build any building in1 turn for free and you could be sitting pretty at tier 5 as early as turn 26. you can use whatever army style you want and afford it by building the expensive tier five landmarks for free and demolishing them for profit which gives a significant boots to your income so you can use the expensive troops early.

Their climate options are dog shit and the complete lack of heros arre just garbage. I love my dark elves and im so damn glad that they have a good fun campaign

High elfs honestly could make due with a nerf to their basic archers and lothern sea guard and a buff to legit the rest of the roster. White Lions and Swordmasters are PATHETIC when they shoiuld be top tier infantry in the game. Their cav and monsters are all redundant once you go by cost value as well. The high elves should imo be built off expensive but VERY GOOD units. Same with the lizardmen imo

High-elves need a complete rework . They have great legendary lords , but as you said , they all play the exact same . Their armies is the biggest issue for me though , bigger than the climate . Yes , you can make powerful armies using only spearmen , sisters of averlorn and maybe a dragon or two . But that is it , no other units from the entire roster are worth it . White lions , swordmasters of hoeth , phoenix guard , dragon princes , all completely useless if you take their cost and tier into account . And the thing that bothers me the most , is that CA completely disregarded the lore . Take swordmasters of hoeth for instance . The lore that games workshop has created , depicts them as the most badass of the badass of the elf , so highly trained that they can kill with a single touch of their blade . What did CA do ? They gave them laughable melee attack and defense , and weapon strength 36 !!!!!! The empire swordsmen have 28 . And the same applies both for the White Lions and Phoenix guard and Dragon princes . I do not know how CA will solve all those problems , cause they also have to completely rework Slaanesh in the next dlc .

All those units have great melee defense and attack it's all their other stats that drag them down Well dragon princes would be good if they had AP like the fireborn

I completely agree when factoring costs nothing is more effective than just spamming armies of tier 1 spearmen & archers from the beginning of your campaign to the end.

I run lothern seaguard spams in all my hi elves campaigns until I unlock SOA, then spam all SOA and I run over everything But totally with you that basically all the other military buildings are worthless except for artillery and dragon building to increase lord rank

I almost never rush confederation with HE, i prefer do it naturally, because it makes game easier when its not so hard from the beginning. I can play Imrik, Eltharion and Teclis( i dont like him because of climat) without any confederation, just playing my own non Ulthuan campaign.

Because there's no settlement at T4 even though I pushed growth Buildings in my start province? Not everyone has the same growth in their campaigns. Try playing Alith yourself.

Already too many LL on ulthuan, I'm pretty sure the dlc will be sea elves for that npc faction located in the south of the map

The Phoenix King is a title, not a specific legendary lord. In the god forsaken End Times for example Malekith became the Phoenix King. Just like the Ever Queen, it's not Alarielle specifically but whoever holds that title at any given time. In the game's period and interpretation of the lore Tyrion is supposed to be the Phoenix King, if you listen to his dialogue in-game he specifically says that, or at least he did back in WH2. Though of course this has some issues if you actually delve into the actual lore. Still my original point stands that it's a title rather than a specific legendary lord they can just add into the game.

@@Owlr4ider so as far as I know finbur is the phonix king ( went through the fires and stuff ) it’s not just a title in my humble opinion
