I know this will sound strange but I am going to use the cap of my spray paint for a base. I purchased some black lace without a purpose and now I have one. Wish me luck. No luck needed as I have your tutorial and I really need a nice pin cushion. My craft room doesn't have anything that is nice and the only pin cushions I have are those orange/red tomato ones.
