Can anyone listen to David singing this and not have a tear in their eye, even though it's been a couple of years now?

So sad to hear of the death of David Longdon, taken much too young. This song means so much to me having gone through some health issues in 2019. I saw them on this tour and this opener was just what I needed. An amazing bunch of musicians, I hope somewhere they can find the strength to continue making music

In these last few years when so many have died through a lack of care, indifference from those in power and shocking profiteering by those with connections, this is such a powerful statement of basic humanity and the power of music to unite in love and the joy of being. It is so so sad that the man and band who gave us this wonderful statement of a life fully lived has passed. RIP David Longdon.

Big Big Train is one of the greatest things to ever happen to Progressive Rock! I have been listening to Prog since I was a child in the 70's and even more so since high school and after. Everything from Floyd,Genesis,Crimson,Rush,Dream Theater,Fates Warning,Riverside, etc. The most consistent band ever. Everything this line-up has done since The Underfall Yard has been flawless. Even my wife and mother are fans. English Electric 1&2 are my wifes favorites when I play them in the car. And I have a huge library of Prog.

As we are all confined home and reminescing of those careless times, I will speak for all of us north americans who were robbed from the pleasure to finally see you perform this incredible music in 2020: that post (and any other that will follow ;) ) is as important to our hurting souls as a scarce respirator is to an ICU patient strugling to stay... alive. A million thanks.

Thank you so much for putting this out in these troubled times. I was there that night in my old home town with my wife Linda and friend Simon. Such fantastic music and a wonderful night. I don't dislike this tune, but it reminds me of a show tune, like from a Broadway Musical. That's not a bad thing, it just does.
