For example the rebuttal of the Israeli counterpart is exploiting Hamas to justify insane military actions and huge atrocities. While the speaker mentions he is not against civilians, he should specify he is not with Hamas. And Hamas is an example of humans being selfish in their toxic environment that Israel occupies and controls. They are creating this cycle of violence to only then exploit. So in essence are saying the only way for there to be peace is to wait how many more decades of humiliation and the entirety of the Palestine population can not show any emotion for the Israeli government to exploit or there will be no peace deal. Hamas is a selfish group that is not a political group acting in the interest of Palestinians. But they are also a by product of their environment. To say otherwise is to say that every Palestinian is genetically evil and they basically agree with Israelis generalization in how inflict so much damage to everyone in that area in the general area aka indiscriminate killing of civilians creating a genocide of a distinct people and culture. And what makes them even more distinct and a protected people is that they suffered as a distinct group for over 70 years.
