Thank you Aljazeera!! The Soviet Armenia was one of the most educated and scientifically saturated places in the world. From Byoorakan Astronomical center to Mergelyan Institute to this fantastic place (I saw it from far when I climbed the Southern peak back in 2012) - it was a place of learning and innovation. While these days tue IT sector is getting steam (mostly individual efforts) these kind of valuable cites were and are still being ignored by negligent and corrupt governments, one after the other. From the milk factory director to an uneducated demagogue and his criminal brother to a well meaning but clueless and often spineless journalist - they’ve thrashed generations life of work in last 30 years and emptied the country from its brain resource. Sure, there will always be these dedicated Areviks who will stubbornly stay and demand attention snd responsibility and they’ll probably and eventually break the stubbornness of the utter idiocy of the ruling parties but why??!! If only conditions were established for a dignified and meaningful life the diaspora, 3 times the size of the countries population, will still flood the country with its experience and finances. But not after another generation. And it takes Aljazeera to point out how utterly dysfunctional and irresponsible we have been. Shame

@@sarhanmuallim not. I know Azerbaijan well through its government's efforts to corrupt its youth. The youth are educated to hate. Some overcome it, but many don't and grow up to become soldiers who kill and mutilate Armenian women ruthlessly. Vandalism and criminal behavior is a repeated behavior by Azeri soldiers before, but specially after 2020 war. 30 years of brainwashing and political prisoners. Armenians font seat around a table and absesively speak about azerbaijan. Because no matter how bad our government is, it doesn't incourage haterate amd racism.
