The term 'bot' needs distinction here. Bot implies complete automation. The account posts/replies according to a script and schedule. They're largely inflexible. Some may be semi-automated with human intervention. Some of the examples presented here are more appropriately labeled 'sockpuppets.' Calling them 'anonymous accounts' doesn't quite fit since they often describe themselves very specifically in their bio (EX: 2A Supporter, 3rd Generation American, Free Speech, Lover of all things Michigan, etc.) and likely use stock/edited photos to represent their 'persona'. A deeper dive reveals the inauthenticity but the idea is to maintain a superficial credibility for people who don't explore beyond the timeline.
