That dude plays Single Player. The Lower Kurast strategy already does not work like that in BNet has you have no influence on PNumbers AND you do not know the map which essential for the speed when talking about 1:xxxx+ likelihoods. Then, you also do not know the Maps in BNet where it is relevant (Durance 2, WSK 2+3, Catacoms 2, 3).

@@MrPeperoni79 It works because D2R changed a lot of quality of life compared to original D2. Although the map is different every time online, it's not that bad if you're using a sorceress with teleport. You just need to find the campfire, and the chests will always be diagonal of left and right from the campfire in Lower Kurast. I personally don't find this worth it, though. Doing Pindleskin and The Pits & Tower from Countess are way much efficient, in my opinion. You also have to take into consideration he's running with 300% Magic Find, which is a lot compared to people gearing up and starting off. I would be lucky if I can even get 100% MF because vitality & resistance are more important than MF. As for the Durance of Hate, WSK, Catacombs, it's also very easy to find because it's always clockwise of your way point against the wall. Depending on the map layout, it's always clockwise of the other side of the map layout if it's facing a certain way. The only map you're not sure is the Catacomb level 3, because you spawn in the middle of the map so you just kind of pick a side and teleport against the wall. There are videos online you can find of people explaining how to do this. It's fairly pretty easy as long you have the survivability and damage for hell farming solo in those areas.

good stuff bro awesome luck. I have done about 100 LK runs a day since the monday after launch, have found a vex and ber. Thats about it on luck from LK though, did find a Jah off of Vizier in a Meph run. Still no Shako, Arach, or anything, so I created a bugged char that hasnt been past act 3 and i started getting better drops. You actually inspired me to continue with LK after seeing this video, I was ready to give up because I hadnt found anything for almost 2 weeks straight.

I played D2 back in the day so I get playing it for nostalgic purposes. However, after trying D2R, I got bored really quickly because the pacing, lack of content, and the monotony compared to other games I've been playing... It's just not for me. After my 6th Mephisto run, I was done with it. D2 is a great game over 20 years old so I accept it for what it is.

It is essentially a MF game, slowly build chars. There's learning how to use builds, learn areas, tricks, and do MF so if you don't enjoy the replayability value I would argue it's not worth getting. It's very different from todays games which mostly are scripted storyline types and a lot of people just play them once to see what happens. It's like playing Minecraft to win the game.

Damn. I have 400 MF and over 500 runs I haven't gotten much. I've been doing tunnels, meph and Andy in each run, only really good thing I've found so far is Arach. Gonna stop tunnels since I literally haven't found a single thing there(0 runes, 0 bases, 1 F tier set and 1 f tier unique). LK looks pretty good though...

Keep in mind that he is on single player using /players 8 so hes getting a lot more loot than you will if you're playing solo games on bnet. Lower kurast for example is just about worthless to run on /p1 loot

Guys this is single player, players 8 settings. The super chests are always in the same spot. LK is stupid easy on single player. I've ran LK on D2 single player for about 30 hours and have a CTA, HOTO, Enigma, and Grief. Single player with /players and always having same map isn't even like the same game as BNET D2R.

@@alewis514 It is. But when you're doing 30-40 second splits it doesn't take long to stack up on chests. It averages out to a high rune every 4 hours. Which isn't really bad at all. Killing mobs you sometimes don't get high rune drops for 100s of hours.
