TYLRbass I think he might have had a migraine I seen an interview where he said when he wears glasses he has extreme migraines because he got stabbed in the eye by a tree branch when he was a child mowing the grass that's why he's always wearing glasses

I think your right the lyrics make sense, I saw Dan at a solo acoustic show a few years ago in Dallas and he started talking about his daughter when he mentioned this song so I guess I just assumed. That’s really cool to know though thanks!

Dan's voice is just so mellow, and sweet sounding. However Matt's can be very harsh sounding, and sometimes tinny. But I love both of them. And I love Derek doing the harmonies here.
