This Song when it came out introduced me to the Trio and I fell in love from there... The rest is history... It's 15 years on if not more and the feelings are still immense as the first time... Oh how Time flies and I am feeling so very nostalgic...

Same here! My punk friend kept trying to get me into indie music. One day I was at his house and this song was playing on his computer. I was like, what the hell is this?? He was all, dude, I've been trying to get you to check these guys out forever. Turned out he had been trying to introduce me to my favorite band for months. Awesome dude. Love you Emis.

@@Shawno1978 So big time the album sold less than $200.000 copies in the U.S , Even sadder that you didn't know this.
@Shawno19783 жыл бұрын
@@kanedasrifle listen I'll break it down for you.. punk rock by nature is not about record sales and is underground and word of mouth. Unlike few bands like blink 182, Green day and Offspring who transend and capture broader pop fans, A3 is a standard great punk band. I suggest you live the punk life and dont correlate sales with reputation
@kanedasrifle3 жыл бұрын
@@Shawno1978 They were never 'big time' which by definition means 'the highest or most successful level in a career, especially in entertainment' So that ends that. Licensing your music for episodes of the O.C , The Hills and Forza Horizon on the X box , how very 'live the punk life'. Never big time by the very definition of the word , and never actually punk enough to turn down Buffy the Vampire Slayer. And the fact you cited 'blink 182, Green day and Offspring' as your examples of 'punk' bands who 'transend and capture broader pop fans' , just shows how young you are and little you actually know , there was this decade called the 70s and a country called England ya know , check it out sometime. So my 11 year old post , 'when i first heard this i was sure it would be a hit and catapult them into the big leagues. such a shame, great single, it really is.' is absolutely fine , hence why you're the only person in those 11 years that reacted negatively to it. So yeah enjoy the 'punk life' Shawn , this conversation is over.
