Dan and Matt are perfect ying n yang for vocals. It's rare when you have 2 guys that sing in the band that can perfectly compliment the other singer or write and sing a completely different song and it doesn't sound like two different bands. I love it. I just seen them last night for their new album "X" in Orlando and still as good as ever!! Matt kept having amp issues and their ear pieces stopped working and they played seamless anyways. They also had a new younger drummer that was a powerhouse like Dave Grohl back in the day! AWESOME!!! Also don't sleep on Drug Church you'll regret it

I’ve been almost suicidal in my thoughts the entire week (trapped - can’t do that to kid) which frustrates me further. I flip on Alkaline and begin to cry uncontrollably. So beautiful. Skibas hooks and Dans eternally identifiable turns of phrase.. I just couldn’t hold it together. The magic they’ve brought to my life for 20 years has dampened the inner pain and brought me joy and excitement too. If it werr redemption such a bring down, I wish I could tell them how Indebted and impossibly grateful I am for their glue that’s held me together when I was clearly falling apart and through addictions and such. And now they’re helping my 23 yr b old son through his demons and hopefully they help save his life as well.

I was in my late teens/early 20’s, living in the NW suburbs of Chicago when Alkaline first started out. It was one of the best times for punk/indie, and one of best places to live. So many good shows... Alkaline has been my favorite band for almost 20 years, and the heartskull logo was the first of many tattoos that I got over10 years ago. This is exactly why they’ll always be my fave, this new album sounds incredible and I can’t wait to see them in August.

But in regards to California, I think Feldmann suffocates Matt’s natural style. That whole album sounds like Goldfinger, this does not. I’ve got some friendly advice you’d be wise to take. This is one of if not the best song in so long. It has everything you like about Alkaline. Love the Skiba simple backup 3/4 - near the end. Dan.. ‘I tried to throw it...’ something about barely unenunciated, back- ups are powerful. And majic. This song is so beautiful I can’t make it all the way through without crying like a bitch before it’s over unless I repeat it around 40 Times. For real. And I’m an ex middle line backer, 42yrs, 6’2” and 245 lb. from outside my truck, it must looks so ... three letter ‘g’ word that used to be perfectly fine to use before the socialists took over. Last time I saw Alkaline I got wasted and mistakenly touched the soundboard. the 2” dicked soundboard guy KIICKED ME OUT 15 min. in. So you Micro-dicked fuck, I go to House of Blues a few times per year and go to most Alkaline shows in Houston and if I happen to see you making your way through the crowd, I’ll be damned if you don’t lose consciousness before you reach your destination AND I hope it will be the bathroom and you need to take a wicked beer piss but get dropped before you can find your oversized clit and you take your 5 minute muddy/piss covered faced impromptu nap. The 11” diameter, utterly embarrassing piss stain in your pants is surely not gonna dry for an hour or more with this Houston humidity ( & don’t forget girls LOVE men with 2” dicks who smell like an alcoholic baby) - No sir, you’re not getting laid tonight. Especially with missing teeth and a growing bloody lip resembling that cartoon guy with the beanie from Fat Albert.(old man reference. I promise, it was moderately funny). And remember well, you got that fat fuckin hysterical middle split, scar- ridden lip from kissing the urinal on your way down because life’s a bitch and what comes around GOES around. Consider it a well needed time out for reflection. And once you stop convulsing and begin to awaken on the piss and mud covered floor in a crowd of concerned, but comedically stimulated, half-smirks squatting around you, not kneeling next to you - because... ewww, don’t you know the floor is covered with mud, beer, piss, and blood? And it’d be particularly wise to at least behave in Houston, TX because if you ever happened to do that again, or I see you do it to a stranger, your face will never look the same and every morning when I awake for bland ass oatmeal in TDC, I’m gonna smirk at how oatmeal must be the only think you can eat with so many missing teeth. WAKE UP! It’s about the way the music makes people feel, not some super low frequency nobody can even hear live except for your autistic 2” dicked ass. The whole things about FUN. Ps.
