I think part of the reason i like Robin so much is that she starts off being overpowered strong, but as the series progress she moves down the scale because it's not her priority to get stronger. She only became strong as a means to survive, but with the straw hats she is free to pursue her real goals, and therefore her power progression stagnates abit.

Using your metric I think I would do 1.Luffy (duh) 2.Zoro (Vice Captain rights) 3.Sanji (kind of an ass pull) 4.Jinbe (Fishman Karate may be a bit overrated. He's also not as strong if he's not close to water.) 5.Brook (power cap unknown) 6.Robin (did you see how fast she beat franky?) 7.Franky (no haki, no devil fruit) 8.Nami (Her weather control is reaching levels of warlord post wano) 9.Ussop (I would say he's got more battle tactics than most members above him, but he's not upgraded the same way as everyone as well with weather control, haki, tech, or devil fruits.). 10.Chopper (Being emergency food means you sit at the bottom of the barrel in matter of strength, not importance, as he's the doctor but point stands.) My list is based mostly on close combat and not ranged. Otherwise, Ussop would probably sit above brook, honestly. (Post dressrosa)

@@08marliesm96 yeah but Brook counters Robin in most ways. His speed is much greater than even Robins df. He can disassemble and reassemble his body, countering her incapacitation technique. He logically shouldn't get hurt by physical attacks like fishman karate, countering Robin again. Also I think they are around the same level in versatility. Brook has ice powers, astral projection, hypnosis powers and his superhuman speed, strength and experience. Brook blitzes before Robin can say her attack name.

But that doesn't mean they are stronger in general and they still can beat even stronger opponents if they don't play into the weakness. Due to Robins high IQ I actually believe his less offensive abilities will get easily lost on her and she can find fixes to overcome them). But I agree her fisherman karate might be lost on him as well. However it was said, that crushing his body/core is smashes would force his soul out and he would die. And of it's about knock out, brooke being smashes into pieces and being scatters around, would still end the fight. In the other hand Brookes sword would be quite the hassle to Robin as she mostly fight with her own body. And if she's not fast enough, she would be vitally injured before she can do anything. So it might just come down to who has the first hit. In terms of general ability, Robin has a wider range with more possibilities and is not reliant on objects for any of them (in comparison Brookes music instruments or sword). She can also use more of her abilities at once. Also she has more options to protect her comrades during battle (like use her body parts to shield them or let them tun on her legs when hurt or unconscious). Her abilities to spy is also better than let's say brook leaving his body. It's also faster while less range. She can fly, has her 'devil' form and create big limbs. Or she car create whole bridges with her arms for others to walk on. I also remember when the caught Zorro and sanji with a net of arm. Also, she used her powers in water (somewhere after the time skip?), which is huge for a DF user. So I cannot agree that Brookes abilities are more versatile. Hell, her only blockers seem to be her range and own physical power (which is no joke either).

First of all Jinbei is stronger than Zoro and Sanji. He has armament haki and is a master fish man karate. He fought Ace for 5 days until Whitebeard ended it. Zoro and Sanji aren’t beating Ace or even to a stalemate. Jinbei took a hit from the strongest, Akainu, and brushed it off like it was nothing. He also tanked a hit from big moms sword. He also has observation haki. His experience alone puts him ahead of most. So the most factual list is gonna be Luffy, Jinbei, Zoro, Sanji, Robin, Brook, Chopper, Franky, Usopp, Nami. It doesn’t matter what extra help Nami gets from Zeus as it doesn’t make herself stronger. She can beat Usopp so those two can be interchangeable but other than those two the rest of the list isn’t changing.

Hot take: Brook>Nami, Usopp, Franky and Robin. His speed, his swordsmanship, his ice abilities, his soul abilities, his hypnosis abilities, and especially his defense. He also doesn't need human needs like food, drinks, breath, or sleep. He can disassemble and reassemble his body, countering Robin. Chopper at the very bottom and Usopp above Brook are insane takes. Usopp is by word of the author the weakest SH and probably always will be. He's incredibly clever and isn't _weak_ by many metrics anymore, but he's definitely still at the bottom of the list with probably Nami right above him, and then Chopper. Those three are clearly the bottom trio in terms of power. Luffy is obviously at the top. The next three after him are obviously Zoro, Sanji, and Jinbe. The middle trio is the hardest to really rank (imo), but it is probably Robin or Franky and then Brook though they really each excel in different areas... though for the time being I'll personally go with Robin first due to her defeating Black Maria who has a higher bounty than Sasaki on Wano. Granted she did have some support from Brook and Franky probably has better total damage output potential and durability, I think with Robin's DF power and how she is continuing to improve it and add things like Fishman Karate martial arts that she is slightly more dangerous and more versatile and would definitely be higher if she gains Armament Haki. I could see a case being made for Franky over Robin though. Anyway, my ranking would be: 1. Luffy 2. Zoro 3. Sanji 4. Jinbe 5. Robin 6. Franky 7. Brook 8. Chopper 9. Nami 10. Usopp

There is literally a list that Oda has given us, there is weakling trio, consisting of Nami Usopp and Chopper, the middle trio, consisting of brook, franky and robin, and then there's the monster trio, luffy, zoro, and sanji. Obviously since then, Jinbe has joined but Jinbe is not strong enough to be in the monster trio (considering he didnt fight against a lead performer) but too strong for the middle trio.

Reasoning: Personally, I believe Usopp will always be the weakest. He may be strong compared to a regular guy, but that doesn’t really mean much when it comes down to it. The more the Straw Hats fight, the stronger enemies they face. Both his and Nami’s strengths are their intelligence, not their physical abilities. They both are very crafty, but they don’t do well in fights. Chopper can be pretty tough, but he’s not a fighter, he’s a doctor. As a doctor, he’d rather be helping people, not hurting them. This makes me think that his abilities could be catastrophic, but his kindness doesn’t allow it. Franky is a good backup character, but not a great frontman. He’s strong, but he doesn’t really have much of a definitive strategy. While Brook may not look like much next to someone like Zoro, he’s still very skilled. His swordsmanship is precise and quick, something that helps him sweep through small fries, and surprise his opponents. Robin is very skilled, having had her devil fruit powers since she was a child. She’s very cunning and capable on her own, but doesn’t have out-of-this-world physical strength like the monster trio does. Jimbei, Sanji, Zoro, and Luffy are all nicely explained in the video :)

Nami is honestly quite terrifying. She hasn't even hit her peek and we saw what big Mom can do with her devilfruit. If Nami had her devil fruit she'd be unstoppable. It's notable that even without it and having Zues and being more skilled at utilizing weather as a weapon I feel like whoever she ends up going against in a final battle is in for the fight of their lives.

I more or less agree with the list but a few things. As much as I love usopp, didn't Oda himself say he was the weakest strawhat? Also just kind of makes sense since his role is "sniper", he wouldn't have as many devastating AoE attacks like other members. His durability I'd argue would be ranked 6 in the strawhats. Then I think Franky and Brooke are a bit misplaced. Franky with all of his cybernetics, I'd think beats Robin strength wise while Brooke definitely would be behind her but still above Nami and Usopp. At the end of the day I'm just glad you ranked Sanji appropriately lol. I can't tell you how many people bring up the bounty shit when its a detriment to Sanji.

To me it is clear Usopp and Nami are he weakest in the crew, if you want to call it that way, since even they are combatetive at this point and could take out many Pirates at a bounty of 100m and below on their own. They would be tier 4 Chopper barely fights but when he does we clearly see impactwise/strengthwise he is more capable than them and I would put him into tier 3 After that the Tier 2 is made up of the trio of brook, Franky and Robin. Brook is definitely stronger than Nami and Usopp. He literally jumped in and saved Nami from Shepherd at Zou. He is a very skilled Swordsman with some badass techniques. Then we reach Tier 1 with Sanji, Jimbei, Zoro and Luffy. And you could further break up this Tier into three smaller groups. Tier 1.2 with Sanji and Jimbei. Tier 1.1 with Zoro who imo has edge over the other two Tier 1.0 With Luffy

I think this is definitively the ranking... 1. Luffy ( Yonko tier, at G5, leagues above the rest of the crew) 2. Zoro ( Warlord tier, as he masters his swords is only going get stronger, at this point far stronger than Sanji) 3. Sanji (arguably on the same level in terms of battle prowess as Robin, but with higher stamina and raid suit boost) 4. Jinbei (Warlord tier, age being a factor against him ) 4. Robin (incredible boost now with high intelligence) 5. Franky (ultra tank and has the benefit of tech boost so hard to place.) 6. Brook( underutilized skill with tons of battle experience and hacks making him hard to rank) 7. Nami (Zeus boosted Nami is Robin tier, but her lack of other skills puts her at this spot) 7. Chopper ( healers should get value within the tier, in terms of overall battle utility I would rank him as high as Jinbei 8. Usopp ( still pretty average)

I really think that Nami should be able to use different clouds. We've actually seen 2 cloud forms that could answer her weaknesses: defense and long range attacks. Just thinking about using gas clouds from Ceasar and Solid flame clouds from Kaido and Momo. Imagine her wearing the flame clouds as an armor! Other than that, she should be able to use snow, acid Rain, or vegapunk's bubble cage.

See brook, frankie and chopper has great potential, if they could use a level of armament haki like the red scabbards then they would be a potent brawler for the strawhats specially chopper and frankie. both have a pretty bulky build and their body is literally made to brawl out with the opponents but because of their role on the crew chopper being the doctor and frankie being the shipwright/ Repair guy, they're kinda overlooked as a fighter when in fact their physically capable of going face to face with the likes of cracker, jack and some low teir commanders. In brook's case i see him more of a glass cannon like nami if he learn how to use a slightly advance armament haki. If you look at strawhats when they're all in their "battle mode" poses they look like a ragtag of a crew when in fact there's only 4 who could really brawl it out with mid-top teir characters unlike other yonko crews.

1. Luffy - No explanation needed for the top 4 2. Zoro 3. Sanji 4. Jimbe 5. Brook - Personally I think his power to put people to sleep is pretty useful and his fruit abilities 6. Robin - Her fruit is strong but limited because she's not physically very strong, though the ability to just snap someones neck or make yourself into Oars is pretty useful. If you think about it her giant ability is similar to Chopper but much less limited. 7. Franky - Basically Usopp but bulkier and completely vulnerable from the back, if they know this 1 good attack and hes dead, he's also limited because if he runs out of kola his only attacks are his punches. But he still has a lot of versatility with his weapons and has some amazing inventions to help him out. 8. Nami - Same with Robin I just cant put her higher cuz she relies too much on her weapon. She does pack quite the punch but if they get in she's done. 9. Usopp - Not much power and like what if his opponent just steals his slingshot lmao, also his plants are still pretty vulnerable and he has to worry about available ammo. Though he is very tanky and as long as he can keep a distance he can eventually pull out a win. 10. Chopper - Too limited and still not that strong. 30 minutes is ok, but like if the time runs out it'll be like Luffy using 3rd gear in Enies lobby vs Lucci. Sitting duck waiting to be KO'd. The gap between Jimbe and the rest of them feels so staggering it might as well just be top 4 then "Nah, they'd lose"

I love Ussop but: Chopper => Brook > Nami > Ussop Ussop has as good skill and haki as Nami ATK damage But Nami has a bit more combat versatility which negates Ussop's durability Brook is really well balance: he had a higher chance to beat Ulti or Page one.
