@@chikiqi I suspect the Ionian characters appeal more to the more Eastern styling that is predominant in TCGs.

I think the simplest answer is that cuts have to be made somewhere. They seem to be going with 12 legends for the 12 non-opposing duel decks. They’ve chosen legends that are popular or are representative of their archetype. Piltover, Zaun, and Noxus are front and center due to Arcane. The conflict between Noxus and Ionia is really important to League lore and a likely next target for an animated series. Now that Arcane is over, void is very likely next on the menu as well. It’s also pretty lore defining. Garen and Ashe are great, but probably best to save Demacia for a release that could feature Kayle, Morgana, and some of the Darkin. As for Ashe, why not save her for a Freljord themed release highlighting Kindred.

That first batch of legends is really skewed toward the Chinese market understandably, would've loved some mean looking legends but China isn't fond of them

if i had to take a guess its sett order-physical, teemo mental-chaos, and leona calm-order, but it really is a shame that there's no demacia legends when they fit 4 Ionia legends, also it seems pretty clear that there's no opposite pairs, so no order-chaos or physical-mental

@@theinfamousx2275when LoR first released, we only had Ionia piltover Demacia SI Noxus and Freljord for regions. It’s possible they’ll do sets based on different regions, like one for SI, one for Shurima, etc.

Half of these I kind of like, but no must-haves for me, and I only ever want to have a couple of decks. I shall be waiting for another set that gives us Ezreal, Ekko, Milio, and/or Nunu, I suppose.
