With the opening pushed back to 2022, most TEL3 stations are roughly 75 -95% complete as of August 2021. Also, TEL2 will be opening this coming saturday.

This Thomson Line is one of Singapore’s promising lines in my opinion. I love it when the line has neighbourhood areas connected all the way to the city which gives easy access within an hour to reach.. 💥

The opening of TEL Stage 3 will mark the end of the first three generation NSEWL trains updating their route maps before their retirement as well as the completion of the originally announced 22 station ‘Thomson Line’ in 2012.

Orchard Boulevard, Orchard, Great World, Havelock, Outram Park, Maxwell, Shenton Way, Marina Bay and Gardens By the Bay Stations need to open by 2022 as it is usually crowded at Orchard Station during peak hours.

Mount Pleasant MRT Station is postponed due to following factors: 1. Restricted area, owned by Singapore Police Force 2. Unauthorised photography and filming is completely disallowed at the restricted area So, they have to wait until SPF opens only the "Home Team Museum", which involves the conservation of blocks while demolishing the rest and building a new HDB blocks, shopping centre and eating outlets.

From what I looked, I think there will split stage 3 into Stages 3A and 3B Prediction: Stage 3A opened from Caldcott to Orchard on March 13 2022. Stage 3B will opened from Orchard to Garden By the Bay on 23 May 2023.

hmm, tbh your prediction is pointless i would say. i don't think lta would split stages and they would just open all the 13 stations at one go. also the dates you put is beyond ridiculous. remember the tel1 signalling problems last year? it could happen again if time tells; they need further testing to ensure that tel3 signalling system is integrated with the tel1&2's. if lta does split then they have made the wrong decision

Simliar to the Downtown Line Stage 3 (the longest stretch of the line), Is most likely that LTA will open all TEL3 stations at once but need to do more testing first to ensure the safety and seamless tests. The opening of TEL3 would most likely be around the middle of next year (this is just my guess).
